Oh. I see. I was wanting to raise it higher do it doesn't put extra stress on my hinges. I am about to put on the smittybilt src classic rear so I need to raise the tire up for it to fit

I got my replacement brown dog motor mounts in. I originally bought the polyurethane and they were to rigid so I trade them for the ultra-flex rubber.

I'll hopefully get them installed this week, I'm going to replace the transmission mount also

Started this Saturday and didnt get to finish but this is what it looks like so far. The welds need to be grinned and then gone over because the welder kept messing up. I plan on putting wood down then bed lining it. So far it holds a 220lb man. I can't wait to finish sometime and let me know what you think.

Forgot to put in that only 4 screws are holding it in there that are drilled through the jeeps frame.

Not so much what I did to my Jeep today as what it did for transporting me around to find the stuff I need to do my next project. Going to Plastidip the headlight chrome bezels. Hit every place in town for the black Plastidip and finally found a ton of it at the local Lowes. Everyone was sold out. And, Lowes had it for half the price of the other places.

What did to my TJ

Painted Fender Flares with spay on bed liner.
Very nice look and sure beats paying for new ones.
Thanks for the idea wrangler forum members.

Tried out my emergency top as the sky started falling before I left the office.

It worked pretty well.

I would post a picture of the actual jeep and top... but it's raining pretty bad out there.

Sorry on my phone and can't see pic real good, but is that emergency top designed to drive with in a pinch?

Yep, sure is. It stays folded up in a bag with two ponchos under the back seat. It holds on with some elastic straps and clips that snap into the tub rail. Quick and easy to put on.

It was a life saver today as I had no top on (it was a nice clear day when I headed off to work this morning) and I had my custom built PC rig sitting on the back seat.

My neices are visiting so I took them out with my son on the Sage Brush trails on the Indian reservation here in central WA we use to take my Dads 88 Cherokee up here the trail starts 1 mile from there home and the trails go on for miles and miles. Not all that challenging it was nice to get the Jeep out on a trail for the first time since I purchased it. Rubbed alot but it was worth it I desperately need the flat style flares and possibly a small body lift for clearance in the background you can see Mt Adams and Rainer is further off to the right. Beautiful day to go jeepin. I need a softop in a bad way!

Black bezels are cool... but what about accenting your headlight retaining rings! Easy to undo, but I LOVE IT!!! Subtle....

Here is a before and after...

I'd say paint her pink and call her the Energizer Bunny but that would clash with the how to make it more "manly" thread.

Still working on the grumpy bumper.

Currently mocking up the winch plate design (made out of cardboard in the pic), after that my dad and I will weld the light bar and still haven't decided what I'm going to cover it with.....bedliner/rustoleum flat black...etc...etc.

Also pictured with my new WARN M8000, perfect for pulling me from store to store at the mall....haha.

Thanks brother! It's been a lot of fun building it, but I'm ready to be finished and move on to a backlog of other jeep stuff.
