A blue dot at a distance will give the tail light / brake light a purple glow. It's an old hot rodder / custom thing from the 60s. I had them on my 56 Chevy.

It's the shinny black part

As for the lift, all I know it's a 2.5" puck lift, as it was on the TJ when I got it.

Oh I plan on it, although I haven't yet, only been on the road for a few weeks.

Here is my re-build thread: http://sija.org/forums/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=11969

Here's my old YJ I had, looking forward to get wheeling again.

Most states they are illegal though. But if it's on an old classic, most cops won't mess with you. I went 10 years without a front plate on my 56

Sold the 56 this past August and bought a motorcycle.

Bought my TJ right before Christmas. Funny, I traded my YJ for that 56 ~10 years ago, but now I'm back

Why on earth would you let someone else handle your Jeep?

Nobody touches my Jeeps but me, people have learned the hard way.

Sometimes there are jobs that require tooling you just don't have access to. Machine work is the biggest example… you just can't hammer bearing races smooth!

I've let so many of my friends drive my jeep. A few have even learned to drive a stick shift in my jeep. I guess I'm just too nice!

Agreed I've taught a few friends how to drive stick in my jeep but that was before I got the new clutch. Since then I refuse to teach anyone lol

Late last night installed my rear Bushwacker Flat Fenders... Why only the rear you might ask? Well since ownership just over a month now I havent been able to go off roading because the pocket style wackers... They rubbed like crazy. We got the rear fenders on and instead of working on the front fenders we hit the trail's that are literally up the road from my buddies house for an hour . Here are some pix of my Frankenstein bushwacker set up lol... Who knows this might start a trend but i doubt it... The fronts are going on tonight ;D

Party in the front (Pocket Style) Business in the back Flat LOL

That's awesome. Bit of a difference between the first and third pic of that car!

Went to the Rangers baseball game, then bought a hi-lift and mount for the rear bumper (Saturday project) and ordered an Instatrunk so I can lock things up when topless.

I made a NO-drill CB antenna mount that mounts on the top bolts of the spare tire mount, behind the 3rd brake light.

I took a step backwards today. I tried to scratch 2nd and it exploded my rear axle yoke and U-joint.

The bright side, at least it didn't break out on the trail in the middle of nowhere.

Just getting things started. Replaced the orinal stock rims with matte black Procomp wheels and 31 inch Duratracs. Much better look.
