Went to adjust my caster and found my caster bolt ends and the corresponding piece on the other side are perfectly concentric. Original Jeep parts too. How's that supposed to work? Surely they're not different for RHD models?

Took (tore) the front milk jugs off, gently (violently) removed the stock running boards, gingerly (cracked) removed the flare extensions, and then took the front carpet out. It was gross and rusty under there. The drain plugs were rotten away... I have a little more work to do

The stock bolts are "round" , you need to order the "cam" bolts. Either the from dealer, or from Napa or something. I think mine are Moog.

Installed the Yellow Optima battery. Wow, what a difference that made...Anyone else with the yellow?? Oh, it matches the Jeep too.

Did the cowl cover and door handles in bed-liner this afternoon. I think I'm addicted because I saw the gas tank skid painted up above and think that is tomorrows mod

Have to change the oil and check fluids before our trip next week so have to stop on the fun stuff and get serious soon, darn!

I put one in my Sahara also, love it. Looks nice in yours! I also put new terminals in. Some brass ones from Wally world. I think you should do the same! That beauty deserves new terminals!

I actually bought it more so because of this forum, just needed a new battery, and this was a great replacement for Jeeps. After it was installed, turned ignition and wow!!! Not sure what else to say yet..

[QUOTE=Logan_M;2371655]Gas tank skid plate got sprayed
Attachment 123052

Did you take the skid plate off to spray it or did you spray it in place? I need to do this too and was wondering whether I need to drop the tank to get the skid plate off just to spray it with Bedliner...

Cheers!

Took the Jeep to Jeep today for a inspection.
Came back with a few things:
Fluids need to be flushed (was going to do this anyway)
Rear brakes shoes, and a leaky wheel cylinder
And that damn code b1899 neutral park safety switch...(just put a new sensor in)
All in all, I'm very happy with my Jeep purchase. Now that the inspection is done I'm going to start tearing into her.

@mjsheth

I backed her up on wedges. And then sprayed it. You have to get down and watch the drip because your spraying up and it just wants to drip off.

Finally re-installed my subs/amps after putting in the bedliner and removing the backseat. Pretty sure if I don't put some type of cover over it, I might as well put a sign up that says,"please steal!"

But man its great to have it back in!

Thanks bro. I couldn't for the life of me figure out a good name on here, so my super spare nickname came to mind...willyb...but no one calls me that until they've had a few beers....ha.

Finished bedlining/painting the interior tonight, and nightshaded the front signals.

Bedlining wasn't 100% success, but it turned out decent. I'm not a super patient prepper, so I didn't do the best taping job, and the gun that came with the Raptorliner kit broke about 80% of the way through, so a lot of the finer details are actually just Krylon flat black, but it blends perfect with the liner.

Left the can of paint sitting on top of my tire though, then went to back the Jeep up and ran right over it, thus giving my driveway and some of my tire a nice coat of black paint.
