Finally got my doors off at work... our industrial shop had to use the air hammer. The pins were all sorts of rusted. Now just need to look into how to disable the door lights and such.

Also fixed my ac stuff... vacuum line is pretty rough and loose.

easiest way to disable those is to just pull the fuse out.

I don't know if they're different for different jeeps, but mine (2001TJ) is located in the fuse box directly behind the glove box. Is should say on the box/panel which fuse is for your doors, I can't remember right now.

Edit: guess I was typing that as you were editing yours.

Measure from door surround to surround, add a couple inches. Go to lowes and get a piece of flatbar aluminum and cut to get desired bow

Seat covers in today...

My boy and I put in new seat covers....took about an hour or so, but I think they came out ok. I am quite impressed with the fit and finish of these covers. I bought them based on feedback from this and other Jeep forums - they are from IGGEE on sale at just under $400 for front and rear.

Here are some before and after pics, any comments (good and bad... ) are welcome!

Cheers.

Hey, they look great, but the iggee covers for TJ's were only $270.00, through ebay. You might want to check on that, for a credit.Iggee Custom Seat Covers - Stores - eBay.
