I just got the carrier itself for now, figured (hoping at least) that I can order the extra brackets later separately if I want for the cans. The guy at 4WP showing me his said the mounting for the Hi-Lift was kind of hokey, so he had just drilled his own holes and mounted it his own way so I might just copy his idea for that if I ever want to mount the jack.

Rokmen all day. Their sliders are so freaking heavy duty its nuts. They've saved the bottom of my Jeep more than once in Moab. Great quality and awesome dudes that know their stuff to ask questions to.

My Luk clutch was delivered today. I will be spending some time this weekend with my feet up and enjoying the wonders of the dark side of my Jeep.

Talking Added 6.5 kickers to the soundbar

So I decided to drop some $$ on some 6.5 inch kicker KS65's for the soundbar. I did have to make some room by cutting away some of the metal speaker ring in the soundbar. Wow they really add some base to the TJ's system. Now need to replace the dash speakers. Hopefully I can modify to add some 6.5's to the dash also!

Making that rust hole disappear with this new fender which is freshly bed lined with a rattle can! Tomorrow morning I'm going to work in getting the good fender off to do some sanding and bed lining and then ill install them and with my luck it won't go as smooth as I made it seem in these sentences. Oh well

Are you gonna rattle can on the passenger side or did you order a "replacement" for that side also? Where did you get it from?

Purchased a manual tire machine, and put my 32" muddies on my new offset rims. (no more rubbing!)

Getting them off the old rims was pretty easy, but putting them on the new ones was a nightmare; don't know if it was just my tires but it took me standing on top of the machine and tire to get it to seat.

Installed my 26 tooth speedo gear, very easy

Also installed my windshield brackets for some new lights.

Lastly, tidied up my tool chest (and bought some new tools too, the local auto shop was having a 1/2 price sidchrome sale)

Last night I brought the top in the house and broke out my needle and thread I had to sew up the seams over my passenger door.

I sewed about 16" of seams. Hope it lasts through the season

Taking her on a 400 mile drive from Ann arbor mi to Bettendorf ia and left the doors in the garage should be an awsome ride.

I fixed the hood flutter with new Daystar latches. Also busted out the grease gun and hit every fitting under my Jeep...and replaced 4 fittings that wouldn't take any grease.

I got it from stylin tucks for like 70 and free shipping .just did the other one which was still in good condition. My only complaint with the new one (so far) is that the front was smushed in a bit and it bent a part of it. I take it that was from shipping but it wasn't to bad I pulled it back out by hand. Now all I have to do is get the crappy one off and put the new one on. Not looking forward to taking all the crap off the drivers side fender which is the reason I did the old one first.

lost two nights stay in the mountains because an hr. from home the ole TJ started running hot. I thought i'd fixed it with a new thermostat but i guess that wasn't the prob. i know now it's not the sensor because it was really hot. had to pull over for a while to cool off. I don't know if the radiator or wp is bad. going to flush it today. ruined my weekend because it was the first real outting for the jeep since we bought it.
