I wrapped up my exhaust install. New stainless downpipe, stainless cat, stainless muffler. No more rust on the jeep!

I also solved my vibration bottom. I would get serious vibrations when i would hit a pot hole or speed bump. Transmission bracket was shot. Good thing I had the skid plate off while I was doing the exhaust so I could check it.

Uploading a video of the exhaust.

We got our ZRTV decals on and just picked up another set of grab handles for the middle bar. Going to put those on, replaced the bad led in the gauge cluster and try blacking out the grill inserts this weekend.

I bought a new transmission pan, a lubelocker gasket, drain plug, a Mopar transmission filter and 4 quarts of valvoline atf+4. I also got an M8 x 1.25 tap to clean out the tapped holes and an M8 x 1.25 helicoil set to fix two stripped bolt holes on the transmission.

I also primed, painted and undercoated the tranny factory skid plate.

She is good to go now.

Changed my interior from spice to black with Duplicolor vinyl and fabric coating
I'm gonna let it sit for 24 hours to give it time to cure. I'll try to get some pics tomorrow.

I wiped it down with acetone. I have Xylol, but I was afraid it would be too harsh. It looks great, I just hope it holds up.

Not tacky at all. I put it back together last night within a couple hours of painting it and the paint was dry to the touch, but a little "soft". I nicked it in a couple places but touched them back up. It's been 24 hours now and the paint should be harder by now.

i drove it to work freezing my balls off bc i left the top down and i couldnt put it up bc i was already late for work. i got to work and after i worked through the first busy wave i made my sway bar disconnects ($3) and then i had my boss get a used 31" tire from our sister store (BFG A/T) and then after lunch we where still slow so i thought hmmm what to do i then turned to my off-road jack and wanted to mount it on my rear bumper so i did ($10) these are the pictures i took.

Hardware for disconnects

The disconnect in.

I bought 5/8ths all thread ($10) and cut two 5" lengths of it

I then put two nuts on one side with a washer this will be on teh inside of the bumper. then on the out side of the bumper one more nut and washer

then i marked holes and drilled them out. and put the two bolts in and tighten them down to the bumper. then put teh bumper on and then a nut and washer on the outside of the jack and then finally one more nut to keep the nut against the jack from loosing up

This was my post on FB to a local radio station (Maryland) that just returned on the air after years of being away.

Awesome Day here in the Annapolis area...Sunshine and cruising in my Jeep with the Top Off. Then some awesome Alt Rock started playing on the radio and I thought how much I missed HFS radio from the 80's and 90's when BANG I heard Gina Crash say "HFS"! I hit the Bay Bridge listening to "The Jakes Cough Syrup" and more. It can't get any better than that. NOT SURE WHEN YOU GOT BACK, JUST GLAD YOU DID!

Everyone waved as well...Truly a good day!

DeDustified underneath with a dremel and an orbital sander, hit it with flat black rustoleum and primer, DeRustified whole exterior, hit it with primer and Chrysler stone white then 2000 grit wetsand, PlastiDipped fading steering box cover; door sail panels; hood latches, greased her up underneath with mobil 1 all purpose synthetic (why not?), refilled with 5 quarts of the finest castrol along with the filter, and rotated in the spare tire. It really is the little things :')

Just a note. The 4.0 ltr is a 6 quart motor. But usually takes 5.5 to 5.75 quart till full.

I've really wanted to do this. I have the dark tan interior. But I'm reluctant because of how much stuff I throw in the jeep that rubs up against the dash at one point or another and like heavy wear spots like the center console and cup holders wearing out the paint weird
