I'm also wondering how well it will hold up. That's part of the reason I haven't driven it in over 24 hours. I want to let the paint get good and cured before I start subjecting it to daily abuse.

Cuz I know you can actually see in some places where it's been in contact with sun and wear so much since 2000 the tan plastic has actually faded and/or blackened from the sun and rubbing

How much did the dealer want? Mine said they would have to order and it would be a few weeks. Wanted to get the Hard top on before then. I ordered mine from Quadratec for (ugh!) $19.99 per side. DaveyJeep wantes $12.00 for a used pair plus shipping. Every place I looked online were either $19.99 each or $29.99 Each (morris for example). Here is the Quadratec Page. Have to oder both sides, not sold as a set.

i hear you..

well....issue was very very slight pulling to one side upon hard braking with old pads.

my intention was to inspect the front calipers, brakeleen the assembly....might as well replace the pads. Factory rotors are fine.
