Getting ready for my UCF ultra High clearance skid, I re-located my locker compressors to the spare battery tray under the hood. It was fairly easy...

Not sure what you wheel the most but those are possibly the WORST mud tire ever, but they do great on rock

I replaced the rear brake shoes, hardware, wheel cylinders and drums. The hardest part was getting the brake line off the wheel cylinder, all in all it took me about an hour and a half.... not bad for my first time

old leaking cyl

new brakes

even painted the drums black

So, got the rust hole looked at today... Gonna have some metal plate welded in next week while I am in Dallas. That will give me another couple of years to get all of the equipment for my garage and find a nicely priced frame in good shape!

Meanwhile, I plasti-dipped the fender flares, with my usual 4 yr old helper!

Went to Bundy Hill in Jerome, MI. It was my first 'real' off road trip and I loved it. I couldn't really get any action shots, as I was driving the whole time.

Mine works great and I just added a in-cab controller on the dash. Great price and has saved my butt several times already.

You get what you pay for, I'd rather pay a little extra and have something I know will work 100% of the time. I don't have any experience with other winches but it's one of those things I won't go cheap on for sure.

I rewired the aftermarket tweeters in the door panel. This was quite a task. I would just remove it, but the previous owner board a hole in the plastic panel. Don't ever do this. The wires run exposed from the door into the dash. I made it a bit more acceptable by running the wires behind the strap. I also changed the oil!

Put stainless steel steps on the side because my wife is small and has to jump up into it. (Plus I'm, getting old!) But they are up out of the way and can be removed easily.
