Hello everyone, today was detail day getting the mud off from being in the mountains over the weekend. Then my wife gets home and while I am heading out the door to wash her jeep she tells me its calling for rain tonight and tomorrow . Never fails! lol. At least they will be clean when it rains on it.
NO matters though I needed to get the mud off from underneath anyways!
Happy Jeepin!

Took mine back to the dealership (again; still under 3k warranty) on the way to work this morning. Check engine light came on. Have to replace some of the emissions parts, gas cap and fix blower motor. Parts wont be in until tomorrow. Oh well, its raining and I can still drive it. Wish I did not have to go into work...really would rather go play in the nice deep mudd

Yup. That's the place. I have to give Kudos for their customer service. I made a mistake and ordered one 18volt switch. Friday night James P. Was emailing me corrected my order and had the switches Monday.
Outstanding. Oh and then he sent me pics of his install in his TJ!!!

Took off the side steps where I'll eventually buy rockslides and fit those. the drivers side is rusted like no other I have no idea how. the passenger side is almost completely rust free. I'm really clueless as to how that happened.

i drove it to work so i could power wash all teh mud off. it rained all day and when i left work i pressure washed it getting like 99% of the mud off and then when i came home someone parked in my spot so i had to park in the yard. and threw mud all up the driver side -_- and my check engine light came on bc of my gas cap not being shut all the way.

Made a pair a disconnects for $10.28. Had never had Rocky disconnected since all the new suspension, track bar and axle work. wanted to be certain every thing cleared. It did! Sorry I couldn't find more impressive topography to use. Didn't have much time this afternoon.

Installed a softop. Only had my 2000 Sahara about 5 weeks, came with a hard top which i took off promptly. Bought a new softop off of craig's list and it's been sitting in the garage. Weather just getting to bad in oregon now so I decided to try installing the softop by myself. I really didn't have a clue how to do it, looked all over online and asked here but nothing regarding softop frame and all.
It wasn't to bad, little trial and error. Screwdriver, rubber mallet and especially a large pair of linemans pliers were very helpful strtching this bad boy on on a 60* day.
Love it! My hard top is now for sale, I will never ever use it for sure.
Really excited i was able to install it myself I have certain physical limitations such that I never thought I'd be able to install it myself.
Seems perfect, couldn't get one snap and about the last half inch of the rear window zipper. No matter how much tugging and twisting that last half inch wouldn't pull together.
Took it for a nice long cruise and just totally love it. The windows are so big it almost feels like there isn't even a top on it.
I love this thing, now that I got the softop on it I can use it alot more dd style the rain is really moving in now in Oregon. Amazing, I have a nice big comfortable luxurious Tahoe and id rather drive this wrangler. It's just plain fun, I am hooked!
Who Knew?

That last snap and Zipper should come together if you can get the top warm enough (kinda tough this time of year). Try a hair dryer or a heated garage or both. Congratulations on getting the top on. A job well done!

I'm not really that worried about it. It's a middle snap and if that last little bit of zipper lets more water in, oh well, it's water, just water.
