Today I brought the TJ and the Blue Torch Fab DIY cage kit to the shop to show the guys what they will be getting into next week. Dropping the jeep off next week before we head to Florida for a few days.

3/8" steel...thats a hell of a rocker knocker for sure! Mine are only 3/16" and they are pretty stout..

Sound is so much better with a decent headunit than the stocker..

Believe I may do the LED mod tomorrow and possibly change the transmission and transfer case fluids..

Changed my front and rear dif fluid today. I discovered that the whine that I thought was an axle bearing, turns out that it is my carrier bearings are shot. Looks like I'll be trying my hand at rebuilding it, I don't think I can afford to take it to a shop

Pulled the cowl today looking for the source of a small leak when it rains. It wasn't stopped up, but there were a few leaves in it so I vacuumed them out. Also checked out why my heater doesn't get very hot. The blend doors are working and the engine gets plenty hot enough. I felt both heater hoses and they were both warm, but one was warmer than the other. I ran out of daylight, so I'll try flushing the heater core tomorrow and see if it helps.

Still looking for the source of the leak, which shows up in the driver's floorboard. I'm thinking of laying the windshield forward and checking out that seal.

First time ever changing brakes and rotors. Pretty straight forward. Then went about painting parts of the dash. Will post soon. The paint's still drying, I suppose.
