Saturday I drove her to Ft.Worth, it was rainy, so top and doors were on (hard top and full doors). On my trip back Sunday, the weather was just too nice, so I stopped at a rest stop and pulled the doors off and stuffed them in the back ... The ladies that pulled in behind me sure were giving me some weird looks.

Dear Diary, today I ...........

Today I washed My "Blue Baby", changed the rotors and pads, and just stared at her awhile.

Notice baby's cute little butt just out of the bath. I wish she stayed clean all the time!!!

Well, I finally got the front end in, and had the "Death Wobble". I had it aligned, got one set of the Hella Black Magic 500 driving lights in, got my Rampage Frameless top on (Due to rain the next few days, first time since May). Put on new pads and rotors, d-rings, and rear bumper (Pro Comp Rockcrawler). After all of that I had to give her a good test drive. I included my buddies jeep in one of the pics. Once his wife gives me a copy of the video she took I will upload it. All and all it was an awesome day after not having her for 3 weeks.

Mine is the teal TJ, my wife is in one of the pics, the other one is one of my friends YJ.

You know flex seal is just rubberized undercoating with a higher price tag?

Finally got around to changing my diff fluid(s). It was the first time I've changed anything in a vehicle other than motor oil. I was a little apprehensive to get started but once things got rolling I realized there wasn't much to it. Looked like it had been a long while since they were changed, the rear cover was caked in black, almost looked like it was painted. Got everything cleaned out and put back together with no issues. Not sure if its all in my head but it feels like she drives smoother.

Actually yesterday I installed my warm rear bumper, but the tire carrier doesn't go on like it is supposed to.... But I also cut off my muffler and the engine not only sounds better (IMO) but it turns off little smoother.

I tidied up a few odds and ends (hose clamps that were needed, new lug nuts on the spare etc) from my build and realized that my newly installed HP30 is leaking from the pinion seal.

I brought it off roading for the first time since I got it! Also my first time going off roading ever! I went to Wharton State Forest in NJ. Let me say I was unprepared!!! I got stuck in the mud and only had a tow cable and heavy duty ratchet strap, couldn't get my self out! Had to call a towing company to come get me out with a winch! Well theres goes $250 out the window!! Could have spent that money on my own winch but of course my older brothers always say save your money you don't need it!!! Luckily the engine was fine and I could off road some more! I sure did have fun but now am scared to go off roading because I don't want to get stuck like that again, I sure thought I damaged something badly. So far so good, fingers crossed!

Right now its being used as a door stop but its kinda big for that purpose.

Have the same front winch bumper, and wired my KC's the same way! Love it, beat the crap out of it and haven't dented it yet!

FIRST RULE: Never off road alone! (Expensive lesson learned, LOL)

And by alone, I don't mean someone else sitting in the pass. seat! At least 2 vehicles!

Got mine here: Tuff Stuff Winch | Recon Winches | Tuff Stuff ATV Winch | Jeep Winches

They also have an e-bay store: Chevy Chevrolet GMC, Ford items in e-autogrilles store on eBay!

I bought the winch bumper and a rear tire carrier bumper from them. I called and spoke with the sales rep, because I noticed that many other mfg's offered a package deal if you bought both. He gave me a discount, and it saved a lot in shipping!

The bumper seems substantial. Shipping weight was 52 lbs. I have not used it in a bad way yet. I do like the design with the shackle tabs welded through the bumper and the bed liner finish.

Don't forget to post a link in here when you get it. I would like to see that top installed, and some details on the thickness of the material and the window material.... I'll need a new top next summer
