Finally got to install my Olympic 4x4 Reverse-a-bars today. Also repainted the plastic fenders, and got to put about 60 miles in today no top no doors. Today was a good day.

lets see i got home at 615pm and decided to start on the front end. I already replaced the tires and steering stabilizer. still had a light shimmy on the road. so i replaced all the ball joints and tie-rods then i aligned the front end. tomorrow i plan on taking it out for the test drive. tomorrow i will put my high lift back on the hood.

Did you have to give up having a spare tire or do you have a swing away?

Big snow storm in Tulsa? You must not be from around here?

Last weekend, I changed ball joints and wheel bearing hubs.
Ball joints were not shot but were on their way out (140,000 miles)

Yesterday installed last item of my TJ Under Armor - a Warn Steering Box Skid.
Bgt in Oct Clearance Sale for $49.00 delivered.
Easy install (1.5hr) incl drilling 3/8" hole on backside of bumper frame.
Only hangs 1/4" lower than steering gear box and is stout unit.......

These are the LiteDOTs. They are really bright, and I did not have to cut a hole in the tub to install. I spliced in pigtails from a stock set of taillights to make them "plug and play" and had to install a license plate light to make it legal. Pretty easy install.

I took the mount off for the spare since I don't run one locally. I am looking at new rear bumpers with a swing away now. Saw one the other day that I really liked (I think Smittybilt makes it). If I go offroad, or on a road trip, the spare goes in the back until I get the swing away installed.

The plan is to cut a hole and install the third brake light in the upper part of the tailgate. I really don't care if I have one, but I cannot pass the yearly inspection in Virginia without it.

Every once in a while a solid snow will show up, and it's been a couple years do I'm hoping we get one

I've been thinking about doing that conversion for a while now. How easy, or hard, was it? I have minimal experience with stuff like that.

Which conversion, the drop down tailgate, or LED taillghts?

Tailgate job I actually had my local restoration ship do, mostly because I just could not find the time to do it. Install was pretty straightforward, but if you do not have a body lift the biggest pain is having to lift the body. This is because you need to insert the plates to bolt the bottom of the hinges to the tub.

Let me see if I can find my install instructions and scan/post them.

Don't worry about going through the hassle of scanning and posting. I can google instructions online. Thanks though. I might talk to my shop and see what they'd charge to do it.

I added some 4x6 speakers. I didn't have mounts so I cut the factory speakers up and mahe the mounts out of them.
