Isn't 4x6 the stock size?

I'm on Oahu. The pictures are from peacock flats. The trail was coming up was the initiator. A good portion of the trail seemed to have washed out last time I was up there a month ago.

Started a Tumblr account dedicated to keeping track of everything I do to the Jeep. Didn't want to start a build thread here because well, lets face it, I would update it very seldom and would just waste space here.
If anyone cares to look at it it's: www.jvlemur.tumblr.com

Did you take the hinges off the body when you bedlined them or did you just tape off?

Fun work

Yesterday I changed the pinion seal in the rear differential, changed the oil and painted the cover. I got all the leaks stopped and made it look better in the process. I love working on my jeep!

Today I tried doing the jeep wave while heading to work...

Then I realized I was on my scooter.

Hate it when that happens...

Ohh Manifold....the humanity!

Took my jeep in Saturday and verified what I was afraid of. I have a crack in the exhaust manifold. The jeep is currently in the shop getting a new one installed. I hope it will be finished later this afternoon and that the removal of the bolts goes well.

Put in some replacement fender flare hardware because the stock hardware is a pain. I had to test it out a little bit so I found a small mud puddle up on Mt. Lemmon in Tucson.

I just used some #10 nuts, bolts, and washers. They fit and are easier to put on/take off than the stock hardware. Picked them up at home depot for about a buck each and they are at any hardware store.

Yeah they too much of a pain. I recently bedlined the flares and I had no intention of putting the stock hardware back on haha.

I grounded the heads off to get mine off, then drilled out the nutserts, then up in good hardware, the only ones that are impossible are the lower two on the front side of the rears

Woke up to an oil leak on the driveway, cleaned oil pan exterior, cleaned timing chain cover, checked all bolts for tight, checked oil filter.....all brand new shining clean! Drove it around town to run errands, parked for overnight got up no leak or drips, no sign of oil anywhere!

Go figure ...it's a jeep!

I'm hoping I can say that after Christmas. Hopefully Santa will bring me a 2.5 inch lift for my TJ.
Yesterday I removed the stock spare tire cover and tried to get some of the excess wax someone left on cracks/crevices from previous owner! I hate the way that residue looks!
