Suppose it could be stock, maybe it's the camera angle

I sanded and painted all three outside door handles, took her to eat Mexican, then we went to Sears and bought her a starter set of tools for an early Christmas.

Helomech, what's your plan for the lockbox and what did it come out of, what's it made of, where did you find it?

Hit one too many potholes and popped the hardtop latch that's right above the driver's seat. The wind whistle was insane!! It wouldn't go back in so I had to lay on the roof to weigh it down while I leaned in the window and hit it with a hammer. It worked.

Trimmed my stock flares 2" to give it that flat fender look. Then I sprayed them with plasti-dip. Looks great with my new wrangler 35s. Then I ordered two 1/2" round amber led lights to serve as the side marker lights. Guess they'll go in next weekend.

I picked it up as part of a trade I did. It was previously in a 2000 TJ, just wedged in behind the rear seat. I just pulled my rear seat out today and this box looks like the mounting holes will line up with the mounting holes from the seat brackets.

I didn't spend alot of time messing with it. It's heavy enough to keep the "honest people" honest. I'll check it out more tomorrow and take some more pics, etc.

Found some slight frame rust covered up by the skid plate. A few hours of grinding, cleaning, priming, and painting later and she's good as new!

Painted my Headlight Bezels Black, will post pictures when it's light tomorrow. It looks really sharp and was easier than I thought, just fine grit sandpaper, and about 3-4 coats of black spray-paint.

Did this yesterday:
- Changed blown OEM sub woofer w/Kicker
- Tried to align my front end after changing all the LCA's, but could not budge the tie rod. The nuts on the sleeves were easy enough to loosen...but could not move that tie rod (lots PB Blaster & a big Pipe Wrench ). I ended up running out of daylight and did not want to "snap" anything so I will give it another go next weekend using BFH near the threads method.

This morning I removed the tow bar bracket, swapped out the front bumper, added the a-pillar light brackets and bolted up some Hella's. Heading out now to pick up a rear bumper and some sliders. Hopefully I can get those installed tonight...
