Parts and labor with a 5000 mile or 6yr extreme warranty (on or off road break, 100 mile tow included) for $1600.00 it would have been $1400.00 without the warranty... seeing as how I don't have the proper tools or experience with gears I don't mind paying the labor or having the reassurance of the warranty of someone elses work.

ordered oil/trans pan skid plate. after seeing price for new oil pan let alone damage to engine/trans if one of the pans got punctured, seems silly not to put one on my jeep

Installed the tail light cb antenna bracket, removed the stock rear bumper, removed PO's home made tow hitch, put the first 5 bolts in to the new rear bumper, then the GF texted me from inside the house to let me know that dinner was ready. Tomorrow after work I hope to mount the little CB, run the coaxe and power... then, with any luck, wire up the two sets of Hella lights up front. This weekend I hope to start on the rock guards and sliders. Gotta get ready for Gunner's BB run.

Installed the new zombie response team decals then went out with my son and tested the flex with my new 35s.

If you are just wanting to start out then go cheap and do a budget boost. Coil spring spacers will give you a boost and then you won't end up spending too much before you go higher. I've got front and back spacers sitting on my shelf in the garage that need a home. Let me know of you want them. Give me shipping and a few bucks and they're yours.

I then found tapered lug nuts (Toyota), and tapered lug studs (BMW, VW, Audi) and welded the nuts into the new metal piece.

I know pictures will help explain.

Here are the only pictures I have on my home laptop. I may have better ones at work, showing the piece with the nuts welded in.

Replaced my serpentine belt and checked the oil in my rear differential. This is my first jeep and I've only had it since October, but the wealth of information on this forum is helping me get to a maintenance baseline and avoid terrible mods. Thanks WF!

Yesterday I stopped the laughing monkeys by changing the OPDA. It was a waste of money. Just add a zert and be done with it. It will save you $180.

You can just buy the coil spacers separate, I've got Rubicon Express 1.75" BB on mine with stock shocks.
I paid less than $70 for them...
They gave just enough clearance for the 31's

I've since replaced the shocks with stock length replacements from.the local parts store

Oil Pump Drive Assembly

You can add a zerk fitting because they don't get sufficient oiling to the upper bearings and they wear out

This is on a 4.0L? I just had a new 4.0 put in and wondering if this is something I need to think about doing?
Thanks

Bought a new fan clutch for the ole TJ. May do it on Saturday. I went OEM due to popular demand and advise from my brother the mechanic to not buy aftermarket. And from the looks of the one already installed, I think that's why the one on there is crap.
