Removed the cold air intake the previous owner installed. Found good original parts on e bay...putting the CAI on e bay for some other fool. Wouldnt insult anyone on this forum by trying to sell them extra horsepower and torque
Installed a new Warn M8000 winch and waiting for synthetic line to come. Re wired the extra fog lights and did it the correct way.

Took a road trip to the nearest truck stop to get my cb tuned. Ended up buying a new 18 foot coax. SWR was reading 2.4 with the antenna fully adjusted. Tried a new one and got perfect 1.5. Turns out coax cables are not trim to fit. Has to be the 18 foot length. Sounds much clearer than it did.

On the way home saw this truck

Probably either a state inspection and his other wheels are too big, or for fuel mileage on a trip..

Installed side marker lights after trimming my factory flares by two inches this weekend. New led markers work great and alternate blinking with the front fender blinkers. Yeah!

Going fast in the desert and jumping over dunes I'd guess. Small tires for inspection.

Well i drove it today.
About a week ago I changed the ignition coil rail, fixed ALL problems I have been having with harsh idle/misfire.
Today I punched it into my front yard instead of down the driveway and jerked it. It immediately started misfiring and... After fiddling with it for all of 5 minutes I gave up.
My coil rail doesnt mount very "sturdily" to the engine, PO did a number on the screw holes and now I use metal brackets attached to my cylinder head screws, so i'm wondering if it came loose in the midst of the rough ride I was putting it through.
SIGH!

Any of your steering components, tie rod, drag link, track bar. Usually pretty popular candidates for paint. Also control arms, springs, shocks, take your pick. I really like the orange, looks good with the black. Now get some paint on those flares and youre golden

(just to clarify Im not saying paint the flares orange lol)

thanks for the suggestions. i didnt think of that stuff. i've been wanting to paint the flares for a while now but i've put it off and now its getting cold. i think bedliner would look good on them, maybe even trim them a bit like the guy above. would also wanna do the hardtop at the same time though. and then tint the windows...funny how one thing leads to another. must be another one of those "jeep things"
