Bummer. Time for a Trail cover...Rode in to work this morning with a very wet hiney, because we had a terrible thunderstorm last night, about 3" of rain fell.my soft top is folded down behind the rear seat, and my bikini top has an opening between hard door window frame and sportbar about 3-4" wide.I have a pop-up canopy/shade that I park under in the evenings, just in case of rain. While I was sleeping, the gale-force winds blew the canopy half way across my 3 acres of land!Woke up to that, and have had a soggy bottom all day.I never knew how much water cloth seats can hold!
What product did you use? I have an 8 gallon compressor and rustproofing sprayer kit (gun, wands, etc). I sprayed the inside of the frame, other boxed in areas, along the perimeter of the underside, up in back of the tail lights, and in the doors last week. I still have to spray the brake lines and some other areas I didn't cover. I used Rust Check - Coat and Protect which is the most reputable product in this neck of the road salt area.Undercoated the frame. Smells really bad.
That's on next springs to do list. How did you do it? I have a friend who has a pit so I can right under it and sand blast it real good.Undercoated the frame. Smells really bad.
Hope you're married dude..."Installed" a 4 inch Batman action figure on dash.
