I was just gona do that today but to clean the rust off the end of the tubes. That's a good idea for the welding! Thanks for sharing.

Bought a new battery, ditched the POS serviceable battery in favor of a non serviceable.

Put on a couple more coats of bedliner on my headlight bezels so they look better. I also had to pick up a replacement tire from Firestone because I slashed a sidewall on my last trip on Friday. This is the second slashed sidewall and luckily this time they covered it because I have the warranty. Last time they wouldn't because they could tell it happened offroading I guess. I'll never buy Firestone again though because I'm 3/4 for getting a flat during my recent offroading trips. Two slashed sidewalls and one time gravel got between the wheel and the tire (how does that even happen?). Needless to say a set of MT/Rs and MT Classics are on my long list of to dos. If anyone is thinking about Firestone Destination A/Ts stay far away.

I got my tires from Americas Tire, the guy sold me their warranty, lifetime(up to 3/32 thread left anyways) I asked him if they'll cover if It happens off road, he said it wasn't a problem that they'll take care of anything no questions asked. At $25 a tire I couldn't say no.

Yeah I definitely will have to get a warranty that covers anything in the future. The next time it happens and they say they won't cover it I'm just going to get new tires. I realistically shouldn't have bought the first one but oh well. Live and learn.

today i replaced my battery with a die hard platinum because for some reason my winch leads melted the post of the last one. and i also replaced the pump for my ARB air lockers. that last one turned out to be a much bigger task than i though. The PO did a terrible instal the first time and they used an off brand pump so all the wires were butchered up. they ruined a solenoid by boring and taping it out for there "custom air pluming" which would have been ok if they did it right but of course they didn't. all is well and in working order now. with the exception of the front locker, just waiting on a new solenoid.

Found 2 missing bolts on the exhaust manifold. Put new ones in, still loud. The back bolts were really loose and blew out the gasket. I know what I'm doing this weekend

haha, yeah, it was just me in the jeep and VERY slow. Sort of deflected off the tire, scraped the plastic flare and cracked the flare mounted turn signal lens. Not being sure if it was actually cracked, brainiac runs his finger across the lens and discovers cracked plastic is not unlike the edge of a razor blade. lol.

Not new...just cleaned and painted. I left them on, just masked real well after I degreased and cleaned.
