Nice ^ I want to order my shaft but I can't order it until I know what my final height will be with the custom TT I am fabing and my 8.8 swap once I finish it. Mind telling me what you paid and what you think of the shaft?

I checked my VIN on GS today and found out she was originally an Oklahoma/Kentucky Jeep. Explains why she is in good shape I guess

his shafts have a 7" spline so it doesnt really make much of a difference in final height. Get it asap, his ebay store had this package for around $500 with shipping New Jeep Slip Yoke Elimater Extreme Short 1310 CV Driveshaft SYE 231J Cardon | eBay The shaft looks great, tho I have to admit that the only thing I have to compare it to is the factory one. But being that its commonly compared to the TW one, I went with this setup since it saves me about $150 after shipping.

I want to get it just right though because I plan on having a good bit of travel when I get done with everything eventually. I already have the sye (free) and just need the DS. I am between tattons for 250 from chris at jeep add ons who has treated me well in the past, and another brand my good friend has used and suggested, who takes care of their customers very well. They are 260. So it's a toss up. I personally think that tattons are a solid shaft but haven't held one in my hands yet.

Taste drive? So down to McDonald's? Haha. Enjoy the new lift, looks great but let's see a pix of the stance after the wheels are back on.

I'm setting the pinion angle on my new axle so I get to skip out on getting new arms I'll get them eventually, but most likely be doing custom arms and a triangulated 4 link at that point in time, unless I decide I want to stretch the WB a little in the mean time. Gota figure out how much I can squeeze out an aftermarket gas tank skid as far as clearance goes before I drop the change on 600 bucks worth of rear arms. Fronts are more likely I am thinking.

Nope. Didn't have to relocate a thing. The smittybilt fenders use the stock inner fender. Install was easy. Just had to sawsall the stock fender and do a fair bit of trimming and fitment.. There are holes in the front for led signals that i got from Genright.

Fixed the notorious passenger floorboard water leak yesterday and tested today by giving my rig a bath. After watching it sparkle, decided to dig under the hood and change the spark plugs since they were the ones installed at the factory! May be in my head but seems to have a bit more pep!
