TnT Customs Wagoneer truss came in the mail last night. Ready to get back home and finish trussing both axles.

Im on from the phone app and can't see your Sig or profile but the jeep in the pic shouldn't need one at that size ? Your having issues?

Yea put a 4" on her last year (2011)and finally got around to putting on the front adjustable con. arms and have real bad bump steer. And all the linkage is in a bind

Something is wrong then. TJ's generally should not run drop pitman arms. Many, including myself, run 4" lifts with the stock pitman arm with no issues.

Yeah, Im using one with my 6" lift, and Id like to not be but Im with him.

From what Ive seen most lifts under or up to 4" actually GET bump steer from drop pitman arms.

I've got on 05 Willys edition that someone took the hood decals off of so I put those back on, 130W KC longrange Daylighers on windshield mounts, and replaced the headlights with KC 4h replacements. Waiting on a new Olympic bumper bar...

Yesterday, got windows and front strip tinted! Today, dropped '05 LJ off at Jeep dealer to have potential exhaust leak looked at (4th shop to review); nothing found, also had them do a flash to calibrate speedo and odometer ($105), tech called and said '05 requires a gear in tranny; no charge! Took off spare to identify a rattle; nothing, crawled under while daughter jumped on bumper and discovered missing rubber on shock making a rattle. Fresh Amsoil oil, synchromesh MTF and coolant arrived this afternoon!

Clocked Jeep on iPhone on the way home, speedo is dead on, but odometer seems to be a tenth or so off with 31s; I will leave it.

Do you know how much the calibration alone would be? I wanted to get to this done, but i dunno how much it would cost. I almost wish I had a speedo gear..

They quoted me $105 to do the flash, but they found out for the '05, you have to change out the gear. In that case it would run over $300 for labor and the gear itself. I think the PO changed out the gear; my speedo is right on with 31's!

You people make me laugh. You can buy the speedo gear for 45$ and change it out yourself in 2 mins

I would just swap the gear. Cost me $35 for the new gear and o-ring. Literally took me 5 minutes to swap it. One of the easiest mods i have ever done.

I didn't do it. Read my post, that is what they were charging for a flash or change out of the gear. My clocked out fine after all; the PO probably did it already.

Operation DEchrome. Did the bezels and the gas cap the other day with rustoleum bed liner so decided today I'd do the hood latches . Next ill do the handles, flares, and mirrors until I can find other things to do!

No- I bought the 97 in May, and the PO had replaced the top, but not the roll bar covers. They were in downright awful shape.

I replaced the pads by wrapping the roll bars in green/black colored rope. I did a write up on it, but I realized that I've deleted all the pictures, unfortunately. If you ever want to sell your black ones, let me know.
