I relocated my CB from the back of the center console to the lower driver's side dash. Also added Bubba my co-pilot to the CB mic.

It's a much more convenient location, and it's still out of the way.

The PO had plastic chrome grill inserts on mine. I hate chrome so I grabbed the inserts from the garage, sand and rattle canned them dull black. Installed them in the dark so I have wait till I get off work in the morning to see how they turned out.

I had to ditch mine at a country fair. Was driving my girlfriend home around midnight and noticed the brakes weren't working very well so I stopped and looked at everything and well right rear drum was covered in brake fluid so I had to leave it...soooo sad

I went and got an estimate of the damages she sustained earlier this week. They had a heck of a time figuring out what to charge for factory step, something about it being a dealer option and not parts from the factory and it wasn't on the list of replacement parts. :dunno: Anyway total cost $2879.

Right apparently he thought so too. And to top it off he fled the scene but the cops found him. My wife got his tag number and they went to his house and got his info.

No the factory plastic step. It ripped the rear bracket out. I was already looking at some sliders "my wife" was going to get me for christmas. Looks like they won't cost me much now

Updated pics of "Chance"...lol

Some of you probably know when I first got my jeep this past february all was great...then all the problems started. Most have been fixed and I already have the parts for the most important repairs to be done within the next couple of weeks. This jeep was in danger of being traded in just a month or so ago.....just didn't know if we could take anymore repairs or something else needing to be replaced...so we had a "come to jesus" meeting and me and the spouse decided to keep it and fix everything. So then I named my Jeep 'Chance' because it was given another chance...lol. This was of course not all done in one day...but I am listing all that has been done so far and some that will be done soon...there are still plenty of extras that I'm wanting for it but it is well on its way getting there. Decided chance will remain a part of the family...(thank goodness)...my other half was threatening to roll it down the hill on accident...(on purpose!) So here it is so far....hope everyone likes...

-new u-joints
-new bearings
-new front brakes
-new skyjacker shocks
-2.25 BB lift
-new plugs
-new wires
-2 new thermostats
-radiator flush/fill
-new air filter
-new camshaft position sensor (not yet installed)
-new water pump
-fresh synthetic oil change
-new BFG AT tires, 31x10.50
-new Dick Cepek DC-2 rims
-new clutch kit (not yet installed)
-new rear engine seal (not yet installed)
-painted my headlight bezels
-fresh wash and wax and clean interior
-and can't forget the new eugene the jeep decal

I figure in not too long Chance will almost be a brand new Jeep!
I have got a lot more things I want for it...new rear bumper and side steps...new head unit and speakers...jeep seat covers...and plenty of other things that I can't think of right now. So I have done quite a few things for my Tj, just not all in one day!
