Sat in it one last time to listen to the factory stereo before the alpine shows up. Then proceeded to rip the dash apart. Please hurry up UPS!

Took the doors off to spray the handles, it's not very warm here but a nice sweater will have to do while running errands in a bit.

They are nice but I would have put Alpines in as they are my favorite brand, maybe when I blow the kickers

So I haven't done this yet, but I know a couple of you have, so I just wanted some opinions.

I'm trying to decide between these sliders...

Body Armor TJ-4121 - Body Armor Rockcrawler Side Guards for 97-06 Jeep® Wrangler TJ - Quadratec
97 06 Jeep TJ Wrangler Armor Rock Slider Rocker Guard Nerf Bar Running Board | eBay

I like that the Body Armor ones just bolt on. But I like the price and coverage of the ones off eBay. But I thought if I got the B.A ones, about bedlining, or plasti dipping a section down the side to prevent some scuff marks, etc.

Any thoughts, comments?

And also... does anybody on here have these? Or are they just a waste of money?

Body Armor TJ-4322 - Body Armor Tub Rails for 97-06 Jeep® Wrangler TJ & Unlimited - Quadratec

Thanks for the input

moar greens!

my old vinyls were all faded from the sun because i used crappy quality material. so i finally put up the cash for some nice ones. my roommate helped me draw everything up just how i wanted in photoshop and then i got a super cool lady at the mall to cut em out with a machine. also, my new shift knob came in. im very happy.

I wanted to try and preserve my new frsme rails as much as possible so I bought some 1 3/8" round hole covers for the holes on the outside of the frame to keep the dirt and water out.

Took off those ugly ass milk jugs/water wings. Also, because I answered the door when my Valentine's gift arrived, I added a Rugged Ridge gas cap cover. It's a start.

Anyone want to buy some TJ milk jugs? Cheap! :-)

I took the top off (which I learned very quickly is deceptively heavy) and went for a ride to the vet because one of my cats needed her shots. . .

. . she was in her pet-carrier in the front seat so the wind wasn't thaaaat bad. She survived.

Afterwards I began work on cleaning the under-carriage. Fun, fun.

I doubt the hardtop is that much warmer anyways. I wouldn't know, but I have no problems at all with the soft top in Michigan winter.

Did some homework on the new LED markers and blinkers I installed on my new Poison Spyder Defenders. I had ordered a new LED flasher to fix the hyper-flash but while waiting on the mail decided there must be another option. The fix was a resistor placed in-line for each of the blinker LEDs. I had a couple of these old resistors from an earlier project that I hadn't used, so cost was zero! They now work perfectly, factory speed! Woo Hoo!

I need the same carrier and regear. My 3.07s with my 35s need it badly! Might go 4.88 though
