Air cooled VWs always come with lots of parts for some reason. Email me some close up pics of the front suspension, tranny and engine and the spare parts, I can tell you plenty. My first car was a 69 VW bug, 25+ years ago. Where are you located?

I did this Accel Tune Up kit the other day and my Jeep has never run better. Low quality cap/rotor/wires were robbing me of power, fuel and my idle was choppy. I highly recommend this kit.
ACCEL TST16 Ignition Tune Up Kit : Amazon.com : Automotive

The red 8mm wires look great too. This kit oozes quality.

Glad you were able to get one, I just checked for a friend and it looks like Amazon figured it out. The price is back up to the normal $144.

BDS kit and Self Fab Bull Bar

Alright! I ordered BDS's 2" kit today from OK4wd.com, can't wait to throw it under the wrangler. I'll post pics when I pull it out of the garage. Also, I'm making my own bull bar for the stock bumper in my free time at work. I made the model out of 1" thin wall conduit, and the real deal will be out of 3/4" heavy wall gas pipe lol. I'll need to sandblast it, then prime/paint it. I'm eventually gonna get an smitty or warn front bumper, but for now, the homemade add on can be something I can be proud of for a little bit, and keep the weight off the new front springs. Here's the plans I drew up the other night. Click image for larger version

Awesome, I love "I did it myself" stuff. Be sure to let us know how it turns out for you! I've thought about doing the same thing, but I am real limited to tools and material right now so I'd have to have someone make it for me

Im still so mad you got one before they went into the delayed shipping status....well not mad, jealous.

Im super pumped they are actually shipping them....so far.

Edit: I know Im a PITA but any chance you can give me some dimensions. The bottom plate, and general idea of height? Id like to plan some stuff. THANKS!

The baseplate measurement is 13" long by 6" wide. Overall height is 9" while on the vibration mount. I'm working on my permanent mount location and air tank as well.
