Installed an aftermarket heated seat kit. The hardest part was taking the seats apart. Well worth the work though.

Bumper was super easy to install. $4.99 torx bit and a breaker bar/ratchet set and about a half hour of work and it was on.

I love the look, was too pricey either.

It used the bolts from my original bumper. It was 6 torx bolts, all I had to buy was the right size bit.

Im about to put spring coil blocks on my TJ on Wednesday. It's supposed to make the springs stiffer and raise it up a little. Has any one done this before? Does it make a difference off road?

I didn't personally do one, but people do them all the time. They are known as budget boosts and they won't really help performance any other than increasing your ride height a little bit, at least that is my understanding.

They didn't drop your order down to one? I saw where someone else posted that due to the error they were only going to honor the price of one compressor not multiple.

Not a problem. You always have to start somewhere.

I put in two separate orders of one each, seemed to work!

Got a package that I have been waiting on for a while today.

What could it be?

I ordered them from Kolak a week and a half ago and finally got them this evening around 7. I was too excited to get them installed so I went out and got them all done in a little under two hours. The front upper bolts were spinning and giving me trouble so I just broke them off. I started with the rear and worked my way to the front. Call me crazy but I think I might have gained a half inch or so.

Old vs. New

My new rear end

Last Sat I planned to order new rubber and rims.... oops... found this instead and it begged me to take it home. Sorry, Stormcrow, you have to wait on the bigger tires...

Fingers crossed for mine. It shows 6 available on the site, but I still have a March ship date. Luckily I only ordered 1.

Since a shop is doing it I don't know if you know the answer but if anyone could chime in on what is really needed besides the new brake system, pads, etc. what all goes into swapping to a 4 wheel disc? I ask because my 8.8 has discs and I'm currently running rear drums.

(Not all today, but over the weekend)...

F&R axle swap.... HP30 in front, D44 rear, both with chromoly shafts, ARB lockers, 4.56 gears using axle mounts off the lp30 and d35

teraflex rear disk brake conversion

teraflex high steer kit, relocated sway bar brackets and extended the track bar on the front to accommodate the changed geometry. Need new pitman arm and adjustable ball joints to get everything dialed in perfectly

installed an arb compressor, mounted switches to look factory, and finished running the last of the airlines in the front today as I was missing a fitting.

installed a hack and tap sye and cv driveshaft. (not sure this was the greatest idea, but all they had in stock on friday and i was 150 miles from home with the ability to install it all that weekend).

Picked up adjustable rear upper control arms to get the pinion angle back in check and hopefully address some vibrations and a horrible noise when coasting

got the tracking number for my poison spyder rocker knockers

Realized I need an adjustable rear control bar as the axle is 1/2" off center pushed to passenger with the track bar that is installed. I'm not sure if this is due to a miscalculation on the brackets, or the length of the existing track bar. Either way, I'm hoping it will be corrected without re welding

and last but not least, cracked BOTH hella light covers putting them back on after having needed them for driving back from this all! I can't believe they both cracked simply trying to snap them back onto the lights! Very disappointing!

Most importantly, I met two of the most amazing people from the Jeep community (sold me the axles and did 90% of the work getting this project under the jeep! Barry and Jodi from Rifle, CO.

Just purchased my 2003 Wrangler Sahara with d44 in the rear and a sweet lift kit over the weekend.

I ordered a new soft top, rugged floor mats, step on runners, AND embroidered custom seat covers from coverking ALL yestesrday. Some of it arrived today. Can't wait to put them on. It's freaking 35 degrees and raining here in Northern, VA though so my dreams might have to get put on hold.

Washed and clay barred her. Tomorrow I'll get all the mud stains off the top, wash the entire jeep again, clay bar it again, and put a couple coats of wax on throughout the day. Then ill start on the inside.
