Did you tow it with the sail up?
Not going to be hard at all, but its almost as if they say this compressor cant handle it. Unless Im reading too much into it.

I cant afford OBA, so I need this one to work for me lol.

Lol. Figured sitting in the yard was a better place to practice raising the mast than next to the boat launch right before my first time out.

2 days ago I did a preliminary wash at the local car wash. Got the 3 weeks worth of offroading off of it. Yesterday I did a secondary here at home to get her shiny again, then I clay barred the entire jeep. Today I scrubbed the soft top, got it as clean as possible. Took the spare off, and washed her again. Took the scrub brush to all the black trim pieces to get the clay stains off, clay barred the hood and fenders twice, and the doors once. Tomorrow I'll rinse the pollen off that's going to collect overnight, then I'll wax her in the morning and again at night. Wait a week or two. Wash it again and wax it two more times. Gonna try to get a good thick coat of wax built up before the doors come off for summer and so I don't have to try and wax it again in Florida heat. I'll clean the interior tomorrow as well.

Plasti dipped the headlight bezels and painted an old tool box that I will use to hold my recovery gear, and misc items. I just need to find a way to secure it.

Installed my black diamond Trektop NX!! Snug fit but with the help of a buddy and a few brewskis, made it work. Looks great and owe it all to Chris Holland at Jeepaddons.com. Heck of a deal and one day shipping!! Got dark on me before I could snap a few pics but tomorrow you can count on em being here!

Speaking of "handling it," I have a Noob question about this Smitty Compressor... can it run tools? Or can it really only handle tires and blowing up beach toys. lol

I am looking at getting my first compressor for my garage (dang they are expensive) but wouldn't mind if this could hold me over until I can save up. Thanks!

Just bought a 97 TJ. PO had 35 baja claws on it and got deep in sand. 4wd "just went out". Oh yeah this is with D30 and D35, 3.07s. Hmmmm, wonder what went wrong. Opened front diff. Spider gear shrapnel everywhere. replaced front spider gears. Didn't even want to look in the rear. Opened the rear up. Spider gears broken and 3 ring gear teeth gone. This is just the beginning....I'll be back with more

Bed lined the center dash instrument cluster bezel and console. Will post pics of console and bezel once I get them back in. Very pleased with the look of the center dash piece. Next to finish that off will be get rid of that JVC radio horribly installed by PO.

And here are two pics of the bezel back in. May be a bit still on the console as I'm contemplating putting in new carpet.

I know what I'm doing this weekend.
Did you sand it or scuff it up at all? or just clean it really well?

Tinted Rear Windows

Got some used tinted rear windows off of CL, put them on today. The rear is a little beat up but the sides are nice.

Just cleaned it real well. Taped up the seal, the lock, and the two brushes where the 4x4 shifter and ebrake are then did three coats 15 minutes between each one. Used the bed liner from lowes like $7.50. One can did it all
