Well today I got an estimate from the guys insurance company who hit her. So instead of using new parts they called a salvage yard to find the door and stuff. Anyway still $1700 in damages.

I removed the drivers side step, the passenger side got removed 2 weeks ago in the accident. Now just need to paint the frame and order my sliders to cover up the scratches

Built a dune flag mount for the spare tire. I use a steel whip with air fittings for quick attach/removal.

Changed transmission fluid & filter. While I had the trans pan off I added a drain plug to the pan for next time. Also added a Magnefine 3/8" Magnetic Inline Transmission Filter. Also changed transfer case fluid.

Drove it through water high enough to come in the floorboard. We got like 6 inches of rain in a couple hours, so everything is flooded, including half my living room and kitchen
I drove it down to my uncle's to borrow his shop vac. The pond next to him overflowed its banks and I had to drive through it. A lesser vehicle probably wouldn't have made it

I started a build thread. Finally got the all the parts for the lift kit delivered and picked up my 33X12.50s mounted on 15x8 DC-2s yesterday. So it will start moving again soon.

Did get the winch on a week or so ago....pictures are now up.

Check it out! http://www.wranglerforum.com/f5/my-2...ml#post1763643

Wheeled up in the snow a little bit on Sunday. Mostly just snowed in forest roads and stuff, but found a few places to play around.

I replaced two of my ultra bent steel rims and used Counteract balancing beads for the first time. I must say those beads really work well, I've never had my tires balanced so well before, highly recommended.

Bought some used Uniroyal Liberator A/T's last night. Had them mounted this morning. They look good!

I did have to put two washers on the steering stop to eliminate some rubbing though.

What I did to my TJ today!

The adhesive to the zip tie holds were losing their grip from when I made my own custom grille inserts. So today I removed them and bent the inserts to form to the grille. Now I don't have anything holding them in place besides the metal. I have driven around town and on the highway and so far, even at 75 mph, they are not moving. Good Stuff.

Today I change the gear lube in the rear differential. Boy did it need it, it was "NASTY"!. By looking at it I'm guessing it's never been changed. Everything inside looked real good, there was very little shaving on the inside of the housing and no chip or broken teeth...

Pretty much just as awesome as advertised. Cruised around all day up hill and down hill, windy tight roads, and not a single issue.

I did put it in a ditch once, but that was when we were first making the transition from dirt to ice and I still had it 2wd and not paying attention, haha. Nice soft landing in the snow bank on the side of the road, put it in reverse and backed right out.

The Duratracs are definitely awesome in the snow though, huge grip.

Used 2 half turn buttons to keep the rear hatch on the hard top up tight against the tail gate.
