I just run my winch rope through one then hook it on the other, put a light tension on it, doesn't rattle at all.

I just got my compressor yesterday. This things looks badass. Are you leaving it portable or going hard mount? I'm thinking I might try and mount it and hard wire it the battery.

Ordered AtoZ slider steps for the sliders a friend of a friend will be making me. I get home on Spring break on Friday, and I have to finish welding and install my 8.8, install my SSSYE, build a crossmember and flat skid, install body lift, install MML, install engine skid, weld tubes to sliders and install, measure, order and install drive shaft and install a 4.10 Dana 30, all by Saturday the 9th, when I leave for Gulches.

Also look up D ring isolators. $10 bucks for a pair. Or you could redneck it and wrap an old t-shirt around em haha

I mounted mine inside on the pass side top of tire well all the back against the roll bar. Not as intrusive as it sounds. It's too big to go where I wanted it under the hood. The hose faces out back, reaches all 4 tires as is even tho I'm changing out the lines when my tank comes in. Hard wired to the battery but I did not run a switch. I'm using the switch on the unit since I need to connect the lines to it back there anyway. I won't be doing hard mounted lines outside the jeep like I thought. I've seen then freeze with crap in em lately and be unusable.

Related question... Is there any good and permanent way to paint steel bolts/washers? Or does anyone know where I can get them in black?
Either buy the black bolts at a specialty bolt store, or do what I did and just spray paint your bolts and washers with a black metal-adhering paint.

I did that for my front tow hooks' bolts, the paint took a while to dry but it did, and they screwed right into the bumper. Same for my rear tow hook.

Get a piece of 1" heater hose. Cut about 3" long. Slide it over the end and it'll do the same job. You can usually get heater hose scraps for free at any auto parts store

I have replaced my seats with some very comfortable dodge Durango seats.(love them). 125.00 for the set. I also replaced me factory mirror and moved the new (15$ O'rielly auto) mirror off the door.

Have you ever wished you had took the doors off before you left the house? I know I have .... so I built a door/window holder for about 8 bucks. I don't know if anyone else but here is mine. This ment for only around town driving not hitting the trails. This is just till you get back home and can store the doors outside the jeep.

I don't think that would work for full doors

Thanks for the tip. I was having a hard time finding bolts around here And with the paint I was wondering if screwing/bolting them them in would chip the paint (and lead to rust). But it sounds like you haven't had any issues.

Thanks again!

The seats are out of a 2002 Durango, I unbolted the seat tracks and welded the jeep tracks to the Durango seat frame. I did have add 1 2" arm to the right rear of each seat to have something to weld to. All in all it wasn't to bad. If the seats were bolted using the factory wholes they were to close to the doors. NO I'm sure there not water proof.

Could not agree more. I am a police officer and I can assure you, "end of the month" has nothing to do with it. There is no "quota". In fact, we can write as many as we want.

You should probably accept responsibility for your actions and keep your equipment up to snuff.

I did the same thing when I replaced my bumper. I cleaned them up a bit, shot them with some Rustoleum Rusty Metal Primer, then gave them a couple coats of black. Even if you do scratch them up a bit during installation, you won't go through the primer. Just touch up the black and be done with it.

I don't think it would work with full doors either and no back seat is a must. Now I need to figure out how to make PVC black. I'm guessing paint or bed-liner spray's not going to stick.
