Getting it off, i didn't paint mine (I did paint the thin piece behind it though) I never really figured pair would stick well if people where playing with it so I left it unpainted

I finished finding out everything that was on my TJ. I bought it last week and just finished my list of "installed parts" this morning. Now onto my wish list which only consists of a new winch. After extensive testing my warn is down for the count. I will be saying hello to the Q series Quadratec winch.

I'd just get a new grab bar.

NO, don't do it! Invest in rebuilding the WARN it will be cheaper most likely.

Unless you get your scratches from offroading, I say save up for a better paint job. It would look great! Your jeep though

Depends on where you hit. I used a guy who does the fleet service for our company, so he got me through pretty easily (including a taped on 3rd brake light, lol). Good luck, maybe I'll spot you around the 'Burg one day soon.

*#+\*~. Damn I hate VA. In CT the state runs their own inspection stations and do no repair work, thus there is no incentive for them to spend an hour and half going over everything determined to find something to fail me on.
Failed because I need a belt. And they gave me shit about my Delta H4 conversion. Apparently they don't have DOT stamp and/or not DOT legal.

So glad we don't have inspections in Iowa

Sure it will, I painted my pvc antenna tower black and it's held up well through the years.

When you get in someone else's car, try to turn the lights on, but the windshield wipers come on.

Do you have to bring it somewhere to get bed liner or can you do it by your self?

I clean it then scuff it up a little. I used the rust-oleum truck bed liner from Lowe's. I like the rough finish over the smooth finish of paint.
