Nothing....but ordered my tires 31 BFG AT, Center console, summer top and sound bar. Few more weeks then I'll put the lift on and do some painting. My jeep is flat black, bedlined (PO). I like the look but it needs something and the center console I bought is spice, maybe I'll do a whole black and tan look. Need a new top anyway come next winter.

Started it up for 3 minutes just to be sure the battery wasn't dead. It's been sitting for a while since it's not inspected and I'm waiting for the registration renewal papers to come in. Can't wait till the weather warms up and doors/top come off.

This was from yesterday, but didn’t get a chance to post it. I pulled the motor out of my TJ, new one being re-built now. Apparently the number three piston decided to disintegrate, thus needing another motor.

Is flat black paint hard to take care of?

I would think if it's bed liner it shouldn't be to hard to take care of and should be pretty scratch resistant. Now matte black paint can scratch pretty easy, but the newer matte clears over a black base can be pretty strong also, not as strong as bed liner. If you plan on doing it yourself bed liner might be easier since matte paint shows mistakes easier and is harder to fix, ie sanding is difficult. You can also look at the matte black vinyl wraps for sale, they're pretty strong. Another way to do it easily is to mix a flat black base paint into a good primer and blast that, but it'll still show scratches. Matte black does look sharp! Thinking I might do that next time I paint mine.

Swapped out interior lights to the LEDs from superbrightLEDS.com

Took off Rampage Tube Steps. Took off cargo rack. Installed MOLLE Rack from Alanjk427 (ebay).

It's bed lined, so yes it's maintenance free. I just don't understand why the PO didn't do the inside? That's this weeks project.

Looks good 00TJSport. there are write ups on here for doing the alignment yourself. Save yourself the money and do it yourself.

I've been looking into that, my stock headlights suck. Qtec? Did you use bulbs that came with them or put some different ones in?

I went full macgyver and made myself a cb radio overhead rack mount out of aluminum and I also made a cb antenna mount out of a flat steel bar.

I just need to paint them.

I have done something similar to this with a friend in his 98 cherokee. One of his pistons shattered in many pieces. We went to pick-n-pull, took apart TWO engines to finally find a decent piston with cross pattern. Put that one back in his cherokee and she runs like a beauty. Now that is how you rebuild an engine CHEAP. I can tell you after taking apart 3 engines in two days, we were ready to be done with that!

All I did today was simply change my oil. I'm beginning to feel like I have to at least fiddle with something on my Jeep every day. Kind of like an addiction...anyone else feel what I'm feeling?
