Went back to discount tire and got my 5th wheel/tire. It is a little big for the rear tire carrier and I can't open and close the tailgate now. The bottom of the tire is sitting on the tailgate and the top bumpstops aren't touching. Once the BL is put on I should be able to use the tailgate again though I imagine.

Rode home in 30 degree weather in shorts and tshirt with no heat so I could get to my roll bar handles and LED light that aren't here yet. Hopefully they will be soon... I can't wait!

I extended my tire bump stops with 1 1/2" PVC pipe

Another option is to get three more factory bumpstops, cut them to fit the gap plus about 1/4 inch, then use the same bolts that wwch99tj used, and sandwich them. I have some in the garage that I am getting ready to do that with this weekend, so when I'm done I'll post a picture.

Will do. Look for it Sunday or Monday, as my work week is pretty hectic. This weekend I hope to get the console sub replaced and do the spare tire bump stops. Your new tires and wheels look really good, too.

Did the "third eye" brake light mod today. $6 and less than half an hour. Cheapest and easiest mod so far

Gonna solidify it a bit this weekend with some silicone. I love it though, IMO it looks a hell of a lot better than the gigantic, ugly reach over the spare, stock brake light.

mine has been in the shop for the past week, getting tuned up and ready for spring. It's been skipping first gear-having that checked and fixed, also had 4WD linkage tightened, mechanic said it appears there has been previous work done to this transmission-not original parts (con of buying on ebay) but we're making everything right on her and looking forward to enjoying springtime in TX

Ok. Finally got the crossmember in and the Jeep rolling in FWD so I could test drive it. From what I could hear over the roar of the exhaust (I had to cut it out starting before the cat so no cat/muffer) the DB's are severely underpowered and I had to fade it pretty hard and turn up the volume and turn my sub down to balance the sound again. Need a good amp
