Today I went to the DMV/MVC for the second time so they could tell me I needed even MORE BS paperwork to register my TJ.

This is really getting annoying. I wanna play with my new toy!

Zone 4.25" combo lift is the best for budget builds. They come with 3" springs, sway bar discos, trac bar brackets, new rear sway bar mounts, shocks, 1" MML and 1.25" BL and the MML will most likely Prevent any driveline vibes you would have. Just my 0.02 though. Oh and I'm running 33s with plenty of room to flex.

Here's a picture for reference.

Yes
And it depends who you ask about rough country... The guy above for example is going to say it's crap, but someone who runs 1 will give you better advice.

That's true, I don't own one personally, but have plenty of people that hate them, and I agree with Commando zone is a good budget one.

Yes, they are pretty expensive. Although, I doubt you would ever regret buying it. I'm on a very tight budget also. However, I'm re-doing/finishing my lift in stages. I'd suggest saving up and buying a lift once, and only worrying about maintenance for the rest of the vehicles life.. But I guess that depends on how willing you are to put it off.

I figured that, but not everyone can afford or needs an expensive lift like Currie

I'm about to upgrade my suspension after having a year on this zone, only because I have an itch to run 35s and have no doubts that it is just as strong and reliable as a Currie lift the only slight downside in the Zone lift is the trac bar relocating brackets as opposed to a new bar, but most lifts period use a relocation bracket over a new bar.

Some of my friends run rough country lifts and they have no complaints.

I can't say I know too much about the zone lift. Are the control arms adjustable? Do they have heim joints? How much is a 4" lift? Is it complete?

It does not include control arms, no heims or JJs but still a great budget kit. I did buy new front LCAs to fix what I assumed would be misaligned (no clue if they were really needed) if you go to a 4" spring lift then you will for sure need a t-case drop or an SYE/CV shaft. Really the combo kit is their best deal. They are a child company of BDS, so the springs are actually just BDS springs for a budget.

http://zoneoffroad.com/prod-display?ca=1&ma=6&mo=56

The combo kit an their 4" spring lift is the exact same price. But that is a link to their TJ lift section.

Had my tires rotated. Will be buying new ones in the summer most likely but want to keep these ones good if that falls through.

I have the N2.0 4" lift on mine and put it on with help from a buddy. I have to say it is my first lift and it is a good lift for the price but the kit does not come with adj. upper control arms or SYE or drive shaft but you can get it for a grand( lift, SYE and shaft) like I did. then buy the cont. arms separate to get the pinion correct, more for the rear. The shocks are crap so I'm saving for some ranchos but if you don't want to spend 2k-6k it's the best bang for you're buck IMO

Odds are you would have neede those things should you ever upgrade anyway so they weren't bad purchases by any means

That's in options you can turn sigs on (I have them on) ad my iPhone can't follow links. But maybe my smartphone is just dumb.
