Been hearing chirping noises from the right rear brake ever since I got my "new to me" Sport about 6 weeks ago. I had been preparing myself for the worst because that was always the case any time I worked on my previous SE... you know, simple brake job turns into axle bearings & seals, which turns into an axle shaft and a differential overhaul... yeah, that kind of stuff. That's just how things went any time I worked on the previous Heep. Needless to say, I was somewhat dreading this. Finally got some time to crack it open this morning. Found it already had new shoes & wheel cylinders, but had a couple of tweaked brake springs and had been mis-assembled in such a way that the self adjuster arms were dragging on the drums. Axles weren't sloppy and the seals were fine, thank goodness. Instead of the catastrophe I was anticipating, all it needed was proper assembly with a new hardware kit. I ended up resurfacing the drums, and while I was dirty, replaced a couple of buggered-up wheel studs, serviced both differentials, patched a nail hole in one of my brand spankin new tires, put on some fresh wiper blades and was done before noon. Now I don't know what to do with myself for the rest of the day.

Did the cb and mic part of the install. Mounted it to the inside of my center console, a couple of holes drilled, then cut the plastic on the lid since it won't close, doesn't close with the mic on but gets close to it.

went looking at tires, rims, and other parts while here in VA Beach for the weekend.

holy shit, some people weren't lying when they said to make sure that you shop around. 400 plus for s SB stinger that doesn't even cover the install, yet amazon has it for damn near 150 dollars cheaper.

the price on rims is quit comical as well.

Swapped out my 30" AT tires on stock steelies with a set of Pro Comp black steel rims with 33 x 12.5" Duratacs. Big difference! Gave my old stuff to a guy from work. He stuck them on his stock Cherokee. I'm happy, he's happy. Good day to be a Jeep guy.

Changed out all spark plugs. Put in a few washers on the front tires to prevent the rubbing. Took my running boards off (looks so much better!). Painted and installed a new stock fender flare. Went and got my front two windows re-tinted. Then a nice trail ride to end the day. Got a lil mud;) Great Work Day!

Installed the Poison Spyder Hood Louvre (still not sure what louvre means...haha). Also found out I have an under hood light...have driven it for 7 freakin years now and never knew. So I ordered a #561 LED bulb from superbrightled. Good day.
