What I did to my TJ today

Finally got around to straightening my steering wheel after replacing the track bar. So much better having a straight steering wheel

Replaced the rear carpets in my jeep with charcoal ones thanks to a generous forum member. Now to find the front one in charcoal and get that one swapped out as well.

Attempted to install my new soft top...
Epic fail! I let it sat out in the sun for an hour before I tried putting it on, but its still way too tight I couldn't even get the header close to latching.

Then I started unpacking the windows...

Since I'm working oh so hard, I took her out for some play time during lunch. Climbed some dirt mounds near the shop, played on some rocks and in some sand, and took the top off. Gonna stay off until Christmas.

Put on my Bestop Trektop I got for Christmas back in 2011. My back window on my original top shattered this winter so I had a reason to put it on. I could of sworn I bought a NX version but it was a regular Trektop when I opened the box. I'm not sure who I bought it from. It only says Fulfilment company on the Fed Ex label. I know it wasn't Quadratec or anybody like that. The side windows don't zip out at all but at least my back window is all in one piece. I like the dark tinted windows. I reblacken my fender flairs with "Forever Black". Great stuff. I put on a Rugged Ridge spare tire license plate kit with the third brake light last week. Looks really good.

Picked up some parts and threw together on-board air...

I still have a bit of work to do as I want to wire it to a switch in the cab.

I haven't wire it to the battery yet, but I plan on doing so once I get my switch in. The daystar rockers fit great in the factory switch location.

Changed out old broken sway bar links and replaced with new JKS quick discos. Added some 1" Daystar spring pucks to help the rear spring sag. Also new plugs and wires. Next on the agenda is new ball joints and tie rod ends. She'll be just like new in a couple weeks ha ha. Just waiting on the guy in the brown truck.
