flushed out the tjs heater core. got some gravelly looking sediment out of it. heater seems a bit better than lukewarm now. the real test will be the next freezing wisco morning (so tomorrow). keeping the cabin warm also isnt easy with a soft back window that only zips 3/4 closed. shopvac use 1001: suck the snow out of the backseat of the wrangler

Finally did the instrument panel, HVAC, courtesy, and dome lights all in blue LEDs. Took about 30 minutes start to finish and looks cool. There are so many pictures of this mod on the list that I'll skip it, but I do like it. I keep reading the posts of people with their tops down and wish for some warmer weather. It's mid-30s here, was 70 the same day last year. Enough about global warming, already.

That looks really good. I have always been fond of the white and tan look over the white and black

Oil changed, new plugs/wires, cap and rotor, greased everything up. Also finally got around to removing my ugly third brake light and getting my round LED taillights installed. Now I have to decide whether or not to put my spare tire back on. The wife says it looks more "Jeep-like" with the spare on but I am leaning on leaving it off for now.

Keep the spare, better to have it and not need it than need it and not have it.
That's IMHO

True...not getting rid of it permanently by any means. I have been contemplating just mounting my spare inside on the floor using the factory spare tire mount since my only regular passengers are my dog and my 13 year old boy.

Friend of mine shoots Dupont. Went to the local paint store and had them take a picture of the interior with their special camera. It came out as paint code RK5 for the interior color. Had them convert it to a paint for the top and added matte to the clear. It was $100 for the pint of paint and activator. Wanted a single stage matte finish but no luck.

The white was okay and might be rare, but its never gonna make it worth more money and I liked the tan better.

Finally got the top off! Got it in January and haven't had a chance since. Even manged to get a little sunburn on my bald head.
Hooked up a borrowed pop up camper that we're taking out in a few weeks and set it up in the driveway for a good cleaning.

Then decided to get out my new Smittybilt compressor because the rear tires looked a little low. Filled them up to the pressure on the sidewall, came on here and realized I was an idiot, went back and deflated about 20lbs out of them. Thanks WF for keeping me straight!

Cleaned the under belly of the beast and the body. You wouldn't imagine how many weird looks you get from laying in the ground at the car wash trying to clean everything under neath. Or maybe everyone does and I'm just not used to it yet....

my neighbors laugh at me all the time when they see my jeep parked in my driveway and me under it on my creeper with a hose in my hand.

I just took it out last night and ran it up to temp...HUGE improvement. Hot enough to make holding my hand up to the vent uncomfortable. Downside: My girlfriend will start stealing it again.

Haha that's nothing. I was trying to work with the wires under the steering wheel so I had my head under there and legs hanging over the top of the headrest. 100% upside down. Ever car that drove by took 3xs as long

haha. ive spent a few hours in that position myself - when i wired up the green LEDs that i have in the floorwell on each side. most uncomfortable position ive ever been in. not gonna lie though - i felt like a super cool-kid when my 90 year old neighbors walked by. lol
