Fixed the rattle I've been hearing for the last couple of years!
It turned out to be the air box rattling against the inner fender...

While waiting for money for parts to finish fixing it, I decided to do a little modifying.
Shortened the bumper 11 inches

Start

And finished

Washed and clean the Jeep.. then sprayed the hardtop with some silicon spray. While I was at the body shop yesterday morning I ask about painting the top. the body man told me I could use silicon on it.
I had a can of silicon spray lube so I tested it in a couple of spots. Then I did the whole top and fender flares...... Boy they sure look good. I know no pic no worky worky..... I'll work on that..

front drive shaft rebuild double cardan. 3 u-joints and the center ball. A Drive shaft mechanic from Fleet Pride was very helpful and gave me a pipe that fit perfectly around the rubber seal and some good pointers (build from the bottom to the top).
This took a couple of hours and saved hundreds. and that horrible squeak called "angry sparrows" is gone. I plan to do the rear some time soon.

Well I can tell you they are jeep oem Rubicon wheels and he most likely has a wheel spacer adapter to change the stock tj bolt pattern (5x4.5) to the newer jeep bolt pattern (5x5) and they look like bfg all terrains

Busy day;

Pulled off the throttle body and cleaned it top to bottom, inside and out.
Replaced:
Pre and Post O2 sensors
TPS
IAC switch
MAP sensor
Ambient air sensor
Installed TSB recommended RE16MC plugs
Denso Ignition wires

Also installed a new rear pinion seal and while doing so noticed that my driveline angle was off a few degrees. Re-adjusted my UCA's and zero'd in my pinion to a perfectly matched driveline angle.

Had a couple problems offroading today. The air box has been redesigned already. Just need to pick up some 4" plastic tubing tomorrow.

Think ill bend the rocker out and put some plastidip over it

Lastly, the jeep won't idle... Have to feather the gas when in neutral. I was told to check the vacuum lines. Ill do that tomorrow as well.

They could be TJ rubicon rims that already have 5x4.5 bolt pattern. I believe they are 17x8's

That's what I meant, lol. I never looked at his sig, just his pics. If they are 17's then it is the setup the other guy said.
