Fixing my buddies junked CV joint on his front axle. It's pretty worn down, think he needs a new driveshaft of will it be okay to put the new CV joint over this?

Well, can't post a pic. But there are grooves worn into that nipple that goes into the CV joint.

I am going to remove it from the jeep and sand it down. Then primer and paint it. The PO did a terrible job painting it and it is flaking and rough.

When I get to it I will do a write up for the removal process.

Seafoamed my engine, what a difference it made, it went from a rough idle to running smooth and accelerates much better, best $8 I ever spent.

didn't do anything but was driving it when I saw a bumper sticker on a Land Rover I thought was fitting. "Screw Fuel Milage"
Don't know about everyone else's but I think I only get around 17mpg. Still waiting for the reliable 4.0 to blow so I can put a Cummins in it. That will improve the milage a little.

I have the same long term plan. That little 4BT engine is one bad mother!

Took off the top

Today I took off the top and cruised over to the beach. Afterwords I put the top and doors back on with some anti sieze, and checked the air pressure in my tires. The back tires were 15psi lower than the front so I filled them up to match the front. my jeep makes me so happy.

Only 17mpg eh? I wish I had that luck. I'm getting about 13.534, but you know... that's an estimate.

13mpg? Ouch. Shoot my truck does slightly better even when towing. I make up for the bad mileage in the summer with the Harley. It's good for 45-49 depending on how much a twist

I am part of the 13mpg club.

I'm gonna see how much mine goes up, I'm at 130k and I'm pretty sure it's never been done. The next time you do it out it in the crank case and vacuum lines for sure it really helps

Installed horn relay that ws missing for some reason. I guess I will find out if my Jeep has an electrical problem or not, soon enough. Never asked previous ower why he took it out, or why he never put one in.

I know during the winter my horn started going off like someone was lying on it at 3 in the morning. Pulled the relay. Installed it the next and early in the morning same thing. Temps were in low 30's so not sure if my clock spring was bad or what was causing the horn to just go off. Not sure if you have the same problem but just reason why I had to pull mine.

I almost broke down and got a cycle because this beast is my DD. Sucks for the wallet, great for the jeep guy in me.

Installed my Rough Country adjustable rear upper control arms. WOW what a difference going from stock to these (OFC the proper pinon angle may have had something to do with it)
