lets see...
- new alternator
- new belt
- new p/s pulley (this was the bitch!!)
- complete coolant flush
- new wiring for the stereo and amps.
- tires rotation.

next:
- saw a leak in the steering gearbox... so... maybe a new one is in order (any good lead about where to buy it?)
- blackout fenders flares
- maybe add a/c (very low priority )

Ah... and I also had several very cold yuengling

I learned about it just recently... don't know how hard will be to find the right one to do the swap (and a good price or course )... I've 33's on my rig so probably the additional s/power worth the search

Drove it in the rain. Then when I got to where I was going, I put up the Bestop Trail Cover to keep it dry on the inside. Or to keep it from getting any wetter. Most of the rain was kept at bay in transit by the bikini top. Then I opted for driving my truck the rest of the day.

What I did on my day off

Replaced the stabalizer connecting links. (both had busted loose) spent the rest of the day trying to trouble shoot a loping Idle. and a one time stuble everytime I try to just startup and drive. (still working on this when I ran across this thread)

i washed it, inside and out... soaped her down, used the claybar, and waxed it up... then found out why i've never used tireshine before (looks pretty bad)... washed the windows, cleaned the interior... pulled out the carpet, hosed it down, and vacuumed the inside... now i just cant wait to get it dirty again!

took the top off, drove it to work, drove it to lunch, drove it to my PT appt drove it home. Parked it, praying it doesn't get too dewy tonight sitting out without the top on LOL. We're supposed to have 4 days of nothing but sunshine so the top is off and the windows are in the garage. Made a mental list of little things I want to look for at the Jeff Daniels Swap Meet this weekend.

How did yours turn out? I did the same this weekend. Looks much better, but a little bit splotchy. Gonna see how it looks after the first wash and then might lightly scour it to even it out *shrug

Much better than before, regardless:

I had enough of my door surrounds rattling, and found a quick fix. Got some tubing that slides snugly over the surround stud, but still fits in the hole in the tub rail. Still has a very little bit of play, but completely quiet now!

I don't even know what the factory piece is supposed to look like. Is it originally attached to the rail or to the door surround?

Got into the TJ, wouldn't start. Remembered the drain-back valve is faulty, turned key on/off a few times to get fuel flowing. Started Jeep and headed to work. Top was flapping, switched a/c to "fresh air" instead of recycle. Flapping stopped. Heard squeaking noise, recalled it was the passenger seat rocking back and forth, mental note to try and grease the squeak when it gets cooler in Texas and I want to spend time in the garage. Probably by Christmas. Got warm, so turned switch to position 4, aka "high", and air stopped blowing, mental note to get new switch and some resistors to fix problem. Recalled this from last summer...and the summer before that...and the one before that... Turned back to position 3 and set a/c to recycle, top started flapping again. Turning into lot required full turn, wheels rubbed, people stared and had that "POS" look on their face, heads shaking. Looked at that luxury vehicle next to me and wished I was in that instead. Saw Jeep go by doorless and topless, driver waved. Feeling for luxury car gone, patted Jeep on the hood and walked into work. Now I'm staring at the clock, anticipation growing for the ride home...

more undercoating, lots of rustolium products.
their spray on bed liner and spray on rubberized undercoat works great.

Broke a sway bar last week. So today I went to NAPA and got two new ones and put them on. Done in an hour.

Hey, how difficult is this project? I was considering doing this to my TJ since I out near the desert in CA, but no one around here has done it yet and so has no idea how much of a pain it might be. Looks great on your rig!

Not hard at all, comes with template to tape on the hood, mark the locations to be drilled, connect the holes with tape once you drilled the holes, cut it out and then bolt the louver in place. I need to get a better pic of it in the day time.
