I added a home made door switch bypass, so I no longer have to pull fuses!

Not to my TJ, but for my TJ, I made something to hang my soft doors on.

Todays Update:

My 12 yr old son and I have been working hard on the TJ today...

Had a slight problem figuring how to get these bumpstops inside the coil spring...

Solution, just have to reverse a spring compressor. (Ny-Lock nut not included...)

Getting closer, taking a break and eating dinner.

Installed my rock sliders, spare tire bracket, and fought the stock steering stabilizer on my 97 for an hour. PB blasted it last night. Used a pitman arm puller but all it did was crushed the threads. Ended up having to drill it out until it let loose. hour to remove,5 min to install new one.

What kind of paint did you use? The sun down here on the coast is brutal, and mine are turning grey.

Yes... luckily I found the extra one I bought when I originally did the swap, so it matched better.

Spent about 3 hours deep cleaning the interior of the Jeep for the first time... I'm serious, I don't want to know what that primordial ooze was in the bottom of the cup holder.
Here's the pile of crap I took out of and off of the Jeep today...

That's good you had an extra.
I still need to pull my cluster out and check the indicador bulb for the 4x4, it hasn't worked in a long time.

OME Steeling Stabilizer. The old one was a pro-comp that I’ll end up selling off as it worked fine, but I just got the bug to upgrade it.
Was it a necessary upgrade – No.
Can I tell a difference – Oh yeah… much firmer steering…
I agree. I have the OME stabilizer and it does an excellent job.

Sometimes, here in Seattle, there appears a large yellow orb in the sky... no one really knows what it is, since we see it so rarely, but when it comes out we take full advantage of it's strange warmth. So this is what I did today...

so i was struggling to do like 40 down the road today. lol. when this F-150 pull up along side. after a few seconds of thinking he was giving me the thumbs up i realized his paniced look and he was actually pointing at my driver side rear tire. lo and behold... DEATH WOBBLE.. at which point i realized that i was vibrating more than normal. after a very slow and painfully thoughtful drive home. i found my spacer mount bolts had come loose and one had snapped. after a quick replacement i was back on the trails. phew... another catastrophe avoided.
