Sounds more like something loose then death wobble. You wouldn't have had a realization of more then normal vibration you would have had oh shit moment lol

Cut my factory front LCA mounts off the axle today. Severly damaged the passenger side mount a couple weeks ago on the trail. Welded up 2 new Currie replacement brackets and mini-skids. Got the plain brackets, did away with the cam bolts, and added adjustable LCA's. Was planning on ordering front adjustable UCA's next week, but when I was putting the tires back on I noticed a little wobble/play in the drivers hub assembley/bearing. Then I noticed a little play in the passenger side upper ball joint.

Looks like Rockauto will be getting the money instead!

So far so good, I planned on posting a little review after I had some more time to test them.

Finished up the rear axle swap (Ford 8.8) and 3" Teraflex lift about 12pm today. T-case still bangs a little, but I'm not in the mood to drop it just yet.

Happy Easter!

Installed my Bulldog Bumper, drilled holes for my KC Fogs and front license plate (gotta love NY). Also painted my headlight bezels black, was shocked on how dramatically it changed the look of the front end.

On order: Winch and Winch plate.

Wish I took pictures but it started to rain.

Cleaned up all my wires for my cb, radar detector, alarm, auto start and my amp. Completely took out passenger air bag and mounted my amp inside where the airbag went. Up high and out of the way don't have to worry about it getting hot or wet anymore.

Were you able to override the dash light? If so....how?

Ordered a Trektop NX and new uppers to replace my faded, scuffed, scratched, cracking, and slightly torn top and uppers.

Looking at putting in an order for an SYE and driveshaft by the end of the week.

Center Console

Saturday I put in a new Tuffy center console I picked up for $100 on Thursday. Had to cut the cup holder on the original shifter surround, but now I have 2.5 cup holders instead of just one!

Finally cut my front bumper down to go with my MCE fenders.

After:

I still have to cap the ends. I don't weld, so I'll have to find someone to do it for me.

Put on the two Rancho 9000XL shocks on the front today. Man what a difference. $200 well spent. If you are questioning what kind of shocks you want I highly reccomend them!

Checked over the suspension before the weekend. Left rear shock top bush was split and knocking, left front bushings gone completely. Dropped it at the workshop and they had it fettled by this evening, including swapping over the stock Nissan Patrol rear shock for my Rancho 9000 (bush went on that one a while ago. Patrol shocks are a perfect fit BTW). Now just the driveshaft rumble (poss.) to sort out but that can wait.

The Easter Bunny brought these, so I got them installed today. The original hood hatches were getting a bit dry, didn't want to go back with rubber.
