Did the third brake light wiring on my new Or Fab carrier. It was my first time doing any type of electrical work so I was a little intimidated. It ended up not being bad at all though. I think it looks pretty clean actually.

Just noticed my CEL turned off... Woohoo!

Also, since I was in the instrument panel, I permanently silenced the beeper. (the black circle part)

Not really all that difficult, but can be a knuckle busting job without the right tools. With 5 Jeeps in the family now, I've done it more times than I care to remember.

Here are some great step by steps w/pics by Stu Olsen - All you need to know if you want to give it a go. Read up and decide for yourself. Oh yeah, and PB Blaster the crap out of everything, everyday, for about a week before doing the job. Removal of those 12 point bolts will go a lot eaiser!

1.) D-30 Axle Shaft Removal - 1

2.) Unit Bearing - 1

3.) U-Joint Replacement - 1

Bought an air raid throttle body spacer for 25$.

I doubt it will do any good. If nothing else I hope it sounds cool.

If taking them off you don't need to be on 100% level ground. Use muscle and pop one off. The second is easy.

If putting them on definitely find level ground

I'm climbing back underneath mine to make sure the control arm bolts aren't loosening up. I'm getting a lot of squeaking and noises.

Drove it to take my CWP class. I am now certified for SC and Utah.

Utah covers more states than SC, so it was worth another $35.

I got a wave from a few bikers and a wannabe jeeper while driving to the Boro
Bikers have a mad love for the jeep when it's open and it's 70+ outside
