Went topless for an hour. And attempted to put the soft top on. ...fail. Not warm enough. Won't stretch out far enoughto get the door surrounds attached

I have that top it's a PITA. I don't care for it really. I like how it looks. Just too user unfriendly.

Look what just arrived.... Tomorrow will be a brown dog day to replace the JKS MML... (my stock rubber bushings on my engine mounts needed to be upgraded, so why not just upgrade the whole piece...)

What about it do you not like? It was definitely snug putting it on at first but it was only about 60 degrees here today so I expected a fight. Had to crank the heater up to high for a bit to make the top comply...after it warmed up everything pretty much fell into place.

I know I probably should have waited for some nice sunny day, but I did not have the patience to wait a couple more weeks for warm weather since my factory top was beyond smoked.

I have the same top and the first time it was tough to get on. But it stretched a bit and was a little easier the second time( on the same day). But so far I really like the top compared to the OEM box.

I need to call them. What transmission mount are you using? I can't find an aftermarket mount in rubber, so it's either poly or factory, I guess. The poly seems to have a bad rap, so. . .

I finally finished putting my lift on after struggling with it for the past week. The bolts were so seized up, I though I would never get finished. I immediately took the kids for a test drive. I got over 4 1/2 inches with the new lift.

It sells for about $4,500, it depends on how much power you want to make. I'm running 10 psi of boost and 260hp at the wheels, torque is around 310. Plenty of power for me.

Painted my roll bar pads /covers.

Used fabric paint from Advanced Auto, gloss black - came out great.
I was undecided between the flat or gloss. Glad i went with the gloss, only a slight sheen.

Well this weekend so far I have replaced the stock flares with 6" pocket flares, installed a stainless battery tray, and put in visors. I am about to head out to the on base craft center and see if I can put in new front brakes, bump stops, rear shocks, and if I have time the new exhaust to replace the rusted out one.

Using the stock transmission mount right now, but may upgrade that up when I install the Rokmen HC belly pan... I've found rubber seems to keep the vibrations down over poly... I'll report back on how these feel once installed later today...

What's the fuel mileage on her after the supercharger install?

It depends on how hard I run it really. If I keep it out of boost it really doesn't change much from before. But in the past year it has been averaging 13 - 14 mpg.

I pulled every piece out. Took a while but worth it to make it look right

Brown Dog's installed. JKS mml pulled out. You would think the through bolt would line up perfectly since there was no change in engine height - Nope... had to lift the engine about 1/4 inch more... Just goes to show what the elements and age will do to rubber...
Followed instructions on the through bolt and allowed just the slightest of movement so as not to overtighten...

Test drive - nice... nicer and smoother ride than with the old ones...
As for my idle at stop, there is a little more vibration going on - but it's a steadier vibration...

Anyone considering an MML lift with an older jeep should consider swapping out their OEM motor mounts with something newer... Well worth it.

Going to add a new rubber transmission mount to my wish list...

Finally got around to repainting the door handles. That's been on my to do list for months.

The handles look better than the rest of the doors. Haha also did the tailgate handle.

Wow! I can't believe that you ran out of Harbor Freight Tool flyers to mask off with. At the rate they send them, I have enough under my bench in any given week to completely cover my TJ!!!

Looks good though, this needs to go on my list!

I put brown dogs in mine and had to take them back out the vibrations in the 4cyl were horrendous...
Which reminds me I need to sell them....

OT:
Went for a ride topless today then when I got home I decided to fix my upper slider window.

The outside trim piece had broken clips so it would flop in the wind...
I took a solder iron and melted it back together

Then I took a heat gun to the top of my door panel, it was starting to turn white like the front edge here

After a few mins of heat.
