for tuffy ccdw box under seat:
put female velcro on right side and front,
put male velcro strip with pull tab across this.
now i can drive with the box unlocked, will work better for the way i'll be using it.

tried out various guns in here, NOTE a 5" 1911 does NOT fit. mine has a pretty long beavertail so length on top won't go, but also length of its grip is too long (fullsize, 8rd).
but all my ccdw ones are much smaller, they all fit;
my 5" 1911 with pica underneath is for home-d anyway i just wanted to see what does and doesn't fit.

Changed the oil for the first time since I bought it in September. Installed a Fumoto quick drain oil pan valve. I have one on my wife's JK too, less mess.

Looks awesome, and the way their mounted it looks like they'll sway side 2 side instead of hitting your rig. I'm no sure of the "duel" antenna operation, it they've boosted area coverage or what. But i've got a 4' tunable firestik, w/ a Cobra 18W-XST2 and it picks up so much I have to turn the Squelch way up,and transmits in the woods pretty far. Truth be told, the last foot or so is what's the most important part of the antenna, as long as it's taller than the roof it's going to transmit/ receive properly when tuned w/a SWR meter.... It looks great....

Just went over 60k on the way to have front inner axle seals repaired (Going to be 2nd repair in a month & still under warranty). Not sure I would have attempted the repair myself anyway after reading Stu Olson's write up D-30 Axle Shaft Seal Replacement - 1 (cold wet driveways are no fun to work on unless necessary). Curious to know if anyone has input if there are any known issues w/the Dana 30? From what I can find on line, they seem to be pretty good...more than likely the tech got in a hurry and pinched the seal.

Just received a call fr service dept. Looks like the tech did not set the seal correctly the first time. Had to redo both.

I wish my camera took better pics and I wish I had taken a before pic but they had the typical mirror post/hard-top hinge grey/white chalky cancer issue. The plastic mirror housing just got old and dull over the years so I went ahead did them as well.....

I ground away all the rust on my frame and T-case skid and started painting it, luckily none of the rust was that bad. Then gonna spray the undercarriage with PB blaster corrosion stop. Gotta get ready for all the salt that IL loves to cover the streets with.

I used an 8 year old can of Dupli-Color Truck Bed Coating that I found in a box of old spray paint LOL. I used it the day I bought it to coat some old Blazer seat brackets and then put it on a shelf and forgot about it. It got put in a box and moved from one place to the other over the years until I read a few posts on this forum about people using bedliner on different stuff so I went looking to see if I still had it.

Went to Dapper Lighting, Picked up a set of the modern type and now I need to re-aim them. Holy crap the difference. These are actual projector retrofits using top quality projectors (S2000, FX45, etc.) not some fleabay crap. Cut off line is so sharp. Install was a joke. I think the hardest thing was the trim ring screws and tucking the wires. Enjoy!

And yes, she looks alien now but the trade off was waaaaaaaay worth it.
