Took my door lowers off for the first time... what a pain in the ass that was. I think the doors had been on longer than the soft top that turned to dust when my son and I replaced it...

How ya like them? Really didn't want to cut a perfectly good front fender to go flareless so I made a pattern out of cardboard and had a buddy cut them out of 3/16" plate. Drilled the holes to match factory flare mount holes, painted em with some rattlecan bedliner and there you go.
Matched up pretty good with the Smittybilt rear fender body armor without cutting or drilling any more holes. Here is a better pic before the lift.

That's pretty cool it also probably gives you a little more rigidity if you were to brush a small log or something of the sort.

Wasn't all today but I got my rear bumper about a month ago and put that one on. Basic pavement ends bumper with d ring mounts. Just got my front bumper 2 weeks ago finally painted it a few days ago and installed it. Got my new pioneer deh 80prs installed yesterday. built a box for a shallow sub for my rear seat about 2 weeks ago. No pics of the rear bumper or CD player. And I painted my d- rings red to match jeep just aren't installed yet, waiting on the paint to dry a little longer before I put them on the front.
Been extra busy the past month or so!

After putting the rear body armor on, kinda out of necesity, somebody (one of my sons jeep buddies)following to close while playing and tried to push the license plate and and rear fender into the back left tire, we beat it out staightish and put the armor on, it needed something up front to match. Having just drilled a dozen or so holes in the rear fenders , I wasnt going to cut the front end up so this was the idea. Turned out pretty good. Have about $80 in that little mod, way less than cutting fenders and adding the stubby flareless fronts.

Went and wheeled with a bunch of people on Saturday. Everyone had huge built jeeps and mines just stock. I kept up with everyone and couldn't do only one hill everyone else went up. I'm so proud of my little jeep! I can't wait until I can build it up and see what it can do then!

Also some of the people I went with gave me new flares, steps and some rock armor today. I can't wait until I have enough time to put it all on!

If you have a Harbor freight or northern tool near you they tend to sell for less than $10 with pouch.

I would venture to say the ones from harbor freight are garbage. Just my guess. I'm in the army and the good ones are much more expensive. I may have an extra one in all my stuff I could let go.

Un able to do the work yourself? Black magic brakes has a full TJ kit for 475, new pads, calipers, rotors, drums, shoes, drum hardware.

Do you have a step by step for the speaker under your rear seat? I'd like to do something like that.

Subwoofer inside of a Jeep Wrangler rear seat this helped me out even though my seats frame was a lot different than mine. There is a guy on like page 3 in the link has the same seat frame as me and almost the same box.

Flush mounted my tail lights, removed spare tire mount, bedlined the tailgate, bedlined my door handles, bedlined my head light bezels, bedlined the center of my hood, bedlined my grill, installed black mesh behind the grill. Started around midnight, now done at 5:15 pm, I'm tired.

Took my steps off. They were broken and faded. Plus it makes my jeep seem like its a little taller. I'm in need of a lift. Lol

I built one very similar to yours, then did some pressure testing to see how it will with stand the jeeps 3500 pounds. It did oky till 3000 but where the pipe comes into the bumper the the weld started to tear I lil. So all I did was made a small gusset from right above the d-ring mounts till 11 inches up and man you just have yourself a 5500 pound tested stinger lol

Very nice. How'd you flush mount those lights?

Outline your taillights with a sharpie then cut out. Drill out the holes that connect the taillight lens to the unit and replace with sheet metal screws. Drill right into the tub.

Watch out for the Evap canister if your jeeps 03 - 06

Just spent 5 days trying to get windshield bolts out to mount my new Rugged Ridge mirrors. Was hoping to just keep them on with hard doors and soft half doors.

After spending approximately $50 at Home Depot for tools, I FINALLY managed to get all 4 bolts out with minimal damage to the rest of the vehicle (the bolts are now useless...).

Got the mirrors mounted tonight and realized... I hate them and they are also useless. Oh and I get the added benefit the my jeep now looks like it has lopsided wings!

The only upside that I can come up with is that I now own a butane torch, a large can of PB Blaster and 2 full sets of Ryobi brand ez-outs (1 was bought as a backup and will be returned). And I guess I get to plan a trip to Fastenal to see if I can get some replacement bolts to fill the holes when I take these mirrors off and return them.

(I'll add the pics later because the WF app keeps crashing when I try it from my phone... )

Installed my security vault to lock my face plate from radio and GPS in when I'm topless and away from the Jeep.

I would just go to your local army surplus store, they sell them all the time. It's a standard E-Tool (entrenching) that about 99% of the military gets issued. You can get them pretty cheap and they are all steel, save the plastic lock bolt that holds the shovel head in place when opened.
