I installed my B&M short throw shifter and Rock Knob, now I'm just waiting on my Redline shift boot to get here.

How do to like it? I have been very hardly thinking about it.

So far it's been awesome, I don't hit the dash like I used to, and I can have big drinks again! I have to re-learn the shift pattern, but it's nothing a few days of driving won't take care of.

Would you mind posting a picture of it in like 1,2, and neutral? I'd love to see how it sets.

Installed the insta-trunk today. Not as much space as I thought. Could barely get my work bag under the deck. At least it will be secure. Plan on running topless all summer.

Ninja payback: Take 4 small pebbles that will fit inside the vavle cap for the tire. Screw them down so they contact the valve stem. Air will slowly leak out until all 4 tires are flat over time. They will pump the tires back up and reinstall the caps. After a few days they wll all be flat again.

They will repete this process again than finally take the car to tire shop and either buy new tires of have them broken down looking for holes.

I guarentee they will not be bright enough to look INSIDE the cap for a stone......

Haha ok that ones awesome!! They did this to me because it would take me awhile to notice and put the pieces together. That would be awesome

And if they figure it out somehow to quickly, you can just use wire cutters and cut the entire valve stem off. That give your 4 flats with no option but to get them demounted and remounted.

Blew up my jack, was gonna put my zj tie rod on but opted to just run it over and have it installed and aligned. No muss no fuss. Alignment shop said the ZJ Tie rod simply wouldn't work. After showing them numerous websites and photos of the ZJ tie rod on a TJ and them telling me I'm wrong and I need a TJ tie rod I told them to get my Jeep off of the lift.

This tie rod is going on TODAY.

Planning on it the guy kept telling me it was the drag link without the hole for the stabilizer and that it was too long to be the tie rod. Nevermind the 3 inches of exposed threads hanging out of the sleeve. I second guessed myself for a minute and then looked at Stu offroads writeup which is where I originally got my PN's.. F$&@ those people. The customer is ALWAYS right.

Sometimes you just have to show people how ignorant they really are. I'm just glad I would never have to take my jeep to that shop cause it sounds like they don't know what the heck their talking about. I would never want them touching my TJ.

Bought a homelink garage door opener off ebay to install in the Jeep

I'm putting them on the console behind the shifter

Marked and cut out the hole

Had to sand the back of the console some to thin it enough to allow the buttons to lock back together

Installed the buttons and used a little gorilla glue to keep the box in place

Now I've got to wire everything and reinstall the console

The tj tie rod is actually one giant adjuster sleeve. It's hollow and flimsy. The zj tie rod js solid and beefier.
