Put my front sway bar back on and added a new pair of JKS quicker disconnects. These seem like much better quality than my old ones that got destroyed several months ago. And they store up much better.

So how hard was it to replace the oil pan gasket? I was thinking of doing the same thing...

Top down with the upper and lower doors off for the first time since I bought the Jeep a month ago.

No it's not hard there is a lot of write ups on how to do it for your year model

I'd measure it to see how much difference it is but it shouldn't be a problem

Thanks for the advise. I am definitely on the same wavelength when it comes to not going into debt, I plan on having a daily driver set up nice and eventually buy a rig that I can set up specifically for the rubicon. Not going into debt to do all this may take a couple years to get my way but i've had much tougher challenges laid before me and this one I will concur... I feel like a long time Jeeper and I don't even have one yet...lol

I would HIGHLY recommend you look into getting an LJ (04-06 wrangler unlimited) they have an extended wheelbase, but they are still a TJ overall which is nice IMO. Especially if you can get an unlimited rubicon.

Finally finished rotating the tires. Shattered the procomp lug key so I had I go pick up a new one. That was by hand not impact wrench by the way.

I did rotate in the new spare. Tread difference is large but not huge. Hopefully it will even out quick.

Also tightened down the seat brackets. AGAIN!

Made it rain!

...no, seriously. I took the soft top all the way off, and took the doors off again. It is now raining, and the temperature dropped 15 or so degrees

BDS 3" Lift added today and Tires Installed.

After reading reviews forever, I am thinking the next step will be a DPG Ultimate kit. Will be ordered in the next couple of days unless I find something else on Craig's list this weekend.
I took my jeep to Griffin Tire in Belmont NC yesterday and had them install my BDS 3" lift along with the tires above. I got the Jeep back today and it looks and drives great. Only one day but I drove about 75 miles total. I will keep you updated on the outcome after more time with t, but initial feedback I have is great. I measured and with the tires and the Lift installed, I am now sitting about 5 3/4" higher than before as measured by the wheel wells I took before and after. You can see the before in my Avatar so it is an amazing difference. I will try and get a more detailed write-up but here is the first picture.
