First I just put some on a soft fiber rag and did it. Then I put a little on a buff wheel for a drill and they came out great. Just thought I would pass along the idea. I know you all like pics so here are a few I didn't take them of before but they were faded and just hazy and here them after about 5 minutes of furniture polish.
I put new ones on my TJ. Got them on Amazon. $8.95/pair plus shipping.

Jeep Wrangler Replacement Turn Signal Light - 1-Pair : Amazon.com : Automotive

Well call me old fashioned I guess I just like finding new ways to improve things without running out and buying new. But that is a good find and nice to know in case I break mine.

Easy fix for the wheel alignment. Loosen the two bolts that clamp on the drag link near the pitman arm. Once lessened (and make sure tires are straight ahead first) turn the "turnbuckle" a few turns until your steering wheel is straight again. Easy peasy!!!!

Oh... And don't forget to tighten the bolts back up after the adjustment! :-)

Took the passenger door off. Took me about 20 minutes (the PO never took them off). Cleaned the pins and put some silicone grease on them. The door now comes out in about 3 seconds :-)

Doing the other door later tonight hopefully.

Mine didn't have pins when I got it.

I changed out the speedometer gear in the transfer case. The PO put on 32" tires, and the speedometer has been off by about 10%. 55 would read only 50, 65 was about 58, etc. With a 3.73 rear end, I put in a 32 tooth gear, the original was 36. Checked the speed against the GPS on the smartphone, and it's perfect! Only took 15 minutes to change it out. It really was as simple as explained many times here in the forum. So, Thanks folks!

Nice

After breakfast this morning I instructed my son in the fine art of manipulating a manual transmission... he did really well for his first time out.

I had the joy of teaching my sister and after stalling multiple times, an accidental burnout and accidentally going down to 2nd instead of 4th I decided the clutch had taken enough abuse and I drove home.

Once I fold the windshield down the light brackets hang pretty snugly where the windshield frame meets the cowl. I usually then just bungee them down, but when I was looking at it I don't see why they couldn't be bolted back onto the tub using the lower bolt that locks the windshield frame. I will check early in the morning, and take pics if it works out.

well if you're just looking for something similar to factory, Besttop makes pretty good ones.
