Took it out fishing today to find out the river rose ALOT and flooded the service roads. Normally packed but no one was there haha, a little flood didnt stop me! Had the whole river to ourselves!! Also did a little bit of flex on a hill for fun all in all a good day! The flooded service road scared me at first but it wasnt too bad. Deepest part was just below my rock sliders

Did you install the head rest in the rear seat or is it a different seat?

I've seen a write up years ago to install head rest in the rear seat, but I've never got around to doing it.

Its a new seat. Its a best top. I believe its called trailmax or trailmax 2. I love it and frequently have backseat riders so its been really helpful and nice and its waterproof too

Smile I got hitched and went topless!

Well sort of... that part was back in January.. but on to the Jeep...

In the culmination of the week - I installed a new Curt Hitch and drove a JEEP for the first time topless.. This is ummmm... AWESOME!

The hitch is Made in the USA and is a real quality unit... My brother in law has one on his Toyota and loves it....

Aside from one of the frame bolt of course snapping and spending a day drilling it out and rethreading it... (god that was awful..but a learning experience.. and there is no such thing as real real good drill bits.. hahahaha) It was a very easy install.... all in preperation for a camping trip to VT - finally some trails!

I am expecting packages today - More over the weekend!

QUOTE=Wrangler2003;3740304]Crossed a milestone on my way to work, would you believe still the original clutch. It is on it's way out though[/QUOTE]

This is AWESOME!
I broke 270+ on my 91 YJ, which was my first Jeep, before I had to sell her in 99. I bought it back 93. When I broke 200, then 250, I remember having this feeling of accomplishment. In 2000 I bought a 97 that the ex got in a divorce a few years later. I had around 150k. It was stolen from her house (YESSSS, I'd rather anyone have it but her). My current 03 Rubi will be in my possession till the day she can't hold new parts and the engine just falls out. I've kept her mileage low so far (currently just broke 93). But sometimes I can't wait. My 2000XJ is about to hit 170k though...

Yeah those 4.0's just keep going. Been fighting lifter tick but my last trick seemed to help. When it should ever blow up I plan a 4bt swap. Needs to hold together for another few years now, just bought a new truck

Trying to install my 3.5" rubicon express lift. Not impressed at the instructions included or the hardware. Shocks didn't come with the bushings installed so I have to figure out a way to get those in there without destroying them. Track bar bracket is a piss poor design. This day has gone to hell quickly

Mine lasted 330,000 miles and still had plenty life before we changed it out. It's all about how you drive it!
