thank you......this really made my wifey happy. I have on occasion done things that has made her suck the seat coushion up places where it is not supposed to go
so this upgrade was really needed.
I used rustolem primer 2 coats then with rustolem auto semi gloss 2 coats. Did it for under $20.00 bucks. The hardest and longest part was covering everything up so that it wouldn't get overspray on it.

I clearly posted on the wrong place and now cannot manage to delete the post. In any case i am happy with how the new wheels look and how i fixed the problem with the spare tire rubber bumps and wanted to share with others. If somebody explains me how to remove post i will gladly do so. I reposted it in another thread about tires.

Cheers,

Haha, I've done the same thing. I've posted in both the JK and the YJ forums by mistake.

New spark plugs and air filter.... just shy of 70k miles. I am pretty sure that the Splitfire plugs I pulled out are not factory. The back 2 cyl plugs were burnt out to .045....

The Stormcrow runs much smoother now.

65000 miles, changed oil and all the other fluids. Wasn't time for the lower fluids, but it spent some time under water at Bridgeport, so I was a little concerned. Glad to report now water in diffs, tranny, or TC. Happy day!

Took flowers to my mom. Had a nice drive over to her house...at a leisurely 45mph. Any faster and petals started flying

How hard was the install? Is the gate level when down? How long did it take to install? I like the idea of the drop down. Any issues closing it with the tailgate bar?

When were you at Bridgeport to get into water?

Initial install calls for it to be angled up a little as the cables will stretch some. Took about two and half hours minus hardware store runs. Closing with the bar shouldn't be any different then when its a swing out. Install is pretty straight forward.

How do you like that Rampage top? I can barely see out my side and back window (back one's also cracking) so I need to either replace the windows or go with a new look. I also like that bestop fastback...

x2 - installed the same kit last year and love having the drop down. Makes a great seat anywhere!
