You're gonna need a bigger antenna to reach further

Well, yesterday we were supposed to go to the Topless Day in Hazlet NJ, but it rained. So I started tinkering around and slid underneath to check it out and found a blown U-joint. So THAT'S what that clanking was. So I replaced both of them in the rear driveshaft.

Today I took the door apart to fix the handle that was falling out. The 2 little lock-down things on either side had came out. One came completely out and was in the bottom of the door.

So that's what I did....while it rained all weekend.

Im nearly done with my 4.0 swap! the engine is running like a champ now that i fixed the vacuum/evap lines. the fenders are back on, and everything is bolted down. All thats left to do is fix the exhaust, get a rear driveshaft made, put both driveshafts in, and put the center console back in. ill be driving it tomorrow night best case. I AM TIRED.

Eh, you might say so, but based on the people that have this antenna, it does just as well as your average 4'. Plus, don't need it too much for distance...just mainly for fun for me out on the trails with the other Jeeps.

Finally got the nerve to bedline the fender flares on my LJ. Having flares the same color as the body just didn't seem right. They came out great. I used the Rustoleum bedliner and since the flares were painted used the Rustoleum self-etching primer as well.
Also installed my axe and shovel on the inside of the backgate using Quick Fist clamps.

Not today but Saturday morning I woke up about 5am and looked outside to see it poring rain and then I realized my hard top was off and I forgot to put my cover on. As I get to the jeep to put my cover on there was about and inch of water in the floor. This morning I took the cover off and it now smells like an animal has died in the jeep. And I had to drive it to school with a wet ass and back. What a great day!

Just finished this up yesterday evening after a couple days of work to remove everything and prep. The girl was a trooper and helped me put both coats of Monstaliner on. Finally gonna be able to just hose it out after the dogs and everything else go in it.

dropped of my rear driveshaft at Oliver's to get it lengthened and have a slip put in it, so that it will work with my new transfer case which has a SYE. I really hope that i told the shop the right things to have my driveshaft adjusted correctly...it would suck if i had them make the wrong thing and end up S.O.L. what little research that ive done on the subject doesnt make me feel too great about it... idk. anyone have a SYE and any info on the subject?
