Bedlined my door door entry. Figured I'd try this out before I spent the loot on actual entry guards. Turned out good so far. The remainder of the stock "entry guards" were a pain to get off though.

Thanks!

I used dupli color bed armor. It's what I've used on my fender, bumper, etc. I've nothing but excellent results with it.

The bed armor is awesome. I'm trying the duplicolor truck bed coating currently, to see how that works!

Just got home from helping to clear the road to my grandmother's house. Trees down everywhere. I pulled about a half dozen off the road and managed to get to her house to check on her. Thankfully, she's fine.

ive been working on the swap for aobut 8 days now. It could probably have been done in 2 or 3 days, but i was learning as i went and i had to wait for a few parts and deal with new problems that arose along the way. (also, the guy who was supposed to weld in my motor mounts showed up a day late : in his defense, he got in a wreck on his way to my garage.)

I swapped in a 4.0 from a 97 TJ.

i took a lot of pictures and i plan to do a small write-up soon. there were a few things which we had to figure out for out selves, because i couldnt find anything on it online, so i will make sure to go into some detail on those things for anyone else who attempts this swap.

The U-bolt fits into the plugged holes that are behind the transfer case and are on either side of the parking break cable. I have no Idea what they are for, but they saved me from having to drill more holed into the tub. I drove to some hiking trails so I could test it out on the way. It worked great.
This is a cool idea, but for those that don't want to deal with it, I would just suggest these. I use them on my pit bulls (think there's a pic of them in my jeep on 550 or 551) when they go riding. Ramsey is 85lbs and Chyna is 65lbs. I didn't order these exact models, mine have 2 male style buckle inserts to fit older model cars and newer. These are great and when the dogs see me pull them out they go nuts cuz they know they are going for a ride.

Tried to put on a new PS pump reservoir, the piece of shit doesn't fit correctly.

When did I notice this? After I installed the pump and put the serpentine belt back on I went to install the high pressure line that comes from the pump itself, and it doesn't fit around the new reservoir. I'm fuming.

I need a halter like that so it mounts on the underside. less to get tangled on I'd like to think. I keep thinking that I'm going to get a weird look if I get pulled over and a cop sees a loose chain bolted to the floor...

I used the spray can. Got it at autozone when I did my fenders about a year ago. Still have like 3 cans left. Lol

Nice! I think they guys at Napa are sick of me coming in trickling purchases. But they do like walking out to see what I've been doing with every visit...

Not today but this past weekend I changed my spark plugs, plug wires, distributor cap and rotor button as well as my TPS. Also picked up a set of nearly new carpet in black for $20.

My dad got the clamps i needed to fix the exhaust today and he took care of it for me on his lunch break! what a guy
then after work i picked up my brand new double cardan rear drive shaft from oliver's customs. got it installed when i got home, and took the jeep for its first test drive with the new engine! ITS KILLER! im so happy its finally done.
the engine is 100X better than the old 2.5. im less than pleased with the tranny though...my old tranny was smooth as butter. this one isnt too bad, but the synchro for 4th seems to be shot because it always grinds into 4th. learning the new clutch is fun. lol. im pretty rough for now...itll get smoother. IT. IS. DONE.
